No one gives putrid shit if you actually hate or love the show or not. The reason is more about why. I want to understand where the polarizing reactions come from.
I've watched all 26 episodes and its not the messiah of TV as some fans of this show would say but I can see why people would like it. Beautiful animations and cute ponies along with it being a good children's show in general allows it to cater to an audience outside its intended viewers. I don't see it being any different from people from all ages enjoying Pixar films or tv shows like Spongebob.

The show is not bad, it could even be better than the average cartoon of today. But I wouldn't say the hate is directed towards the show, but towards the people that try to convince you to like it more than what it is.
If people start using pictures of religious figures in every one of their post wouldn't that be annoying? What about rage faces or any other meme, wouldn't it be annoying?
Besides, there are people out there that fu*@#ng hate universally acclaimed properties like James Joyce's novels etc (i personally dislike Raiders of the lost ark). What is the big deal about hating a cartoon?

It would surely result in negative responses to the awesomeness that are Space Marines, and would probably disuade people from wanting to know any more about this whole Imperium of Man business. People could even become quite hostile to the various random images of The God Emperor's of Man's finest.

I've watched the first episode of My Little Pony to see what the hype was about. The animation was great and you know what, the story and characters weren't too bad either but it wasn't compelling enough for me to continue watching the series. Let the My Little Pony fans do their thing. As long as they aren't doing anything wrong, they're fine in my book. They're not being racists, they're not breaking any rules, they're not killing anyone, etc and all that jazz.
Just move on.
