Sorry, haven't been around much. Gonna take my end of course test here in a little bit so I won't be on until afterwards. But I'm seeing a lot of Dusk talk, which I'll check in on later.
Cheers!
Cheers!
I do actually have an ability to help me. I can attempt to steal the Item of the day from the highest bidder. How this works is that I choose someone to steal from, and if they have the item I steal it from them. The problem of course is that I know as much as everyone else does on who is in contestants row, making it kind of a crap shoot.Your win condition is to survive till the end of the game. And you can't play for prizes.
Were you given any abilities to help you meet this win condition. And how do we know that it will benefit town?
I was casting votes while in line for Pirates of the Caribbean.

I know that essentially makes me an item thief, but it can actually be very helpful for town. We know that scum can also win items so if used properly, my power can prevent scum from getting items and using their power.
Tell me about it.This has to be bullshit. That's such an overwhelmingly weak ability, you basically were tossed into the game just to lose.
Tell me about it.
Yeah, CornBurrito. He had nothing.Did you target anyone last night?

Explain these "obvious reasons"It might be true that his win condition was to actually steal *one* item, but for obvious reasons he doesn't want to admit it.
That could be why he said he was a survivor. Because he has a better shot at winning late game rather than now.

Casting votes while on Pirates is a #scumtell.
Now casting votes while waiting for Splash Mountain? Definite Townie move.

Explaining the Melon situation: Looking back at my wording I can see how someone might think that was a soft claim. Whoops. Basically, I just thought that Melon was running off my previous play and how I play passive. It's totally possible she's still scum, and using that to her advantage.
Basically, just me typing before thinking. Again.
Why carry that on for so long? Why not clarify earlier on?
Only scum ride Splash Mountain.
Never trust a neutral. At best they're harmless, at worst they're ruining the game for us. Magnum already admits he lied, why should we trust him on anything?

Are you surprised so three people didn't want to put a vote down on D1, CM?
The downside to it being a good information flip (and it legitimately is), is that if Dusk is town then scum can just go along with the lynch and justify their vote with the same justification everyone else will be using.
Which basically costs town some information since lynches are the main (and sometimes only) way to infer a person's alignment.
I do have a question for Christina Mackenzie: Would you vote for Dusk?
I am willing to do so, despite the cons I mentioned.
I'm still deciding.
Explain these "obvious reasons"
I actually don't really see why any scum would have come forward D1 was bidders, if the scum team plan was to target bidders. Because then that'd raise the question of "why do CM/Corn keep surviving?"
Could you at the very least elaborate on why you are currently undecided?
The bolded gives me an idea.* Do I believe Dusk Soldier is town?
* Does he have the Xbox?
* Can Magnum be trusted?
* Will he steal the Xbox tonight if he lives?
Also it looks like we're both in a precarious situation, likely targets from both sides.
Are you asking if I would vote with you?
If we can remove him from the game without wasting a lynch, that's absolutely a benefit to us.Some thoughts:
1. Magnum lied. Whatever trust he may have deserved was gone the second he lied. Not lynching him is very problematic.
2. Worried about WAMD. Suspicious on D1. Claims role without any necessity. Targets melon based on my behavior, then votes for Magnum immediately after me.
3. Dusk Soldier claimed without necessity, I don't think there is any evidence for his claims (as no one has come forward) and his statement contradicts Sophia's earlier comments on flavor. He gave us nothing, but expects trust.
4. Splinter with an absolutely ludicrous "Let the neutral live, we can help him win" post. That...doesn't benefit us at all.
If we can remove him from the game without wasting a lynch, that's absolutely a benefit to us.
Nonsense.No. The only one that would be "wasting" a lynch is mafia, as they want to get rid of town (power) roles. You're not making any sense here.
Why?If there's a neutral, don't leave them alive
He claimed on D1 when Kark was threatening to override him.I'm not sure if I agree with the line of thinking that we help our neutral. Nothing Mags has done thus far has suggested his in it for anyone but himself.
I think not that of a logical reason why he would ever role claim such a thing on D2? No one besides Kark was actively looking at him today. I can't help but think it is a ploy to protect someone.
CornBurrito/Christina Mackenzie, as the only other people known to have bid on an item, is there anything amiss to his description of the bidding procedure?
Why?
And I hope your answer is more than pointing to your turn as an SK
He claimed on D1 when Kark was threatening to override him.
And just to clarify I have no interest in helping the neutral. I beleive this is our best play, and it's only coincidentally helpful to Magnum.
I have laid out my entire role on the table. I am totally willing to play ball with town, no matter what you guys want to happen...except for lynching me of course.
Because 1)Item Thief sounds like a scum role and 2) I technically wasn't lying. I am a neutral survivor as long as I steal one itemMay I ask why you bothered lying the first time you claimed, and not being entirely forthright from the get go?

I can just win instantly if can manage to pull it off twice.
There's no reason to use the former outside of a mini gameI feel like it's a bit pointless to ask this, but is it a "game over" win or a "cya nerds I'm out" win?
Barely hinted? I can't see any other way to read that D1 post...As far as I've noticed in this game circle of ours, neutrals fuck Town over every time. Leaving them alive just isn't a great policy. It's especially odd if someone else is making those promises for him.
He barely hinted at something on D1 before the buzzer. I cautioned him to not claim, evening
IMO, his claim came out today.
Barely hinted? I can't see any other way to read that D1 post...
Also I can see good arguments for lynching a neutral, but this isn't one of them
