The things that's making me pause about Dusk is that we may be doing scum's job for them. I do agree it's a good information flip though.

The downside to it being a good information flip (and it legitimately is), is that if Dusk is town then scum can just go along with the lynch and justify their vote with the same justification everyone else will be using.
Which basically costs town some information since lynches are the main (and sometimes only) way to infer a person's alignment.
I do have a question for Christina Mackenzie: Would you vote for Dusk?

I do actually have an ability to help me. I can attempt to steal the Item of the day from the highest bidder. How this works is that I choose someone to steal from, and if they have the item I steal it from them. The problem of course is that I know as much as everyone else does on who is in contestants row, making it kind of a crap shoot.
I know that essentially makes me an item thief,but it can actually be very helpful for town. We know that scum can also win items so if used properly, my power can prevent scum from getting items and using their power.
Casting votes while on Pirates is a #scumtell.
Now casting votes while waiting for Splash Mountain? Definite Townie move.

It might be true that his win condition was to actually steal *one* item, but for obvious reasons he doesn't want to admit it.
That could be why he said he was a survivor. Because he has a better shot at winning late game rather than now.

Well, this Magnum stuff is certainly an interesting development. I pegged Dusk as being our neutral. But I can't think of a reason why he would role claim such an unwanted role. Hmm.

Explaining the Melon situation: Looking back at my wording I can see how someone might think that was a soft claim. Whoops. Basically, I just thought that Melon was running off my previous play and how I play passive. It's totally possible she's still scum, and using that to her advantage.

Except it's not one item, it's two. If I steal two items, I win. If I steal one item and survive to the end of the game, I win. If I don't steal any items by the end of the game or die, I lose.
Now you see why I agreed with CornBro.

I agree. Although I'm less concerned about him lying, and more concerned about scum getting to him and forming an alliance with him somehow.
Unless he can somehow prove and solidify that he'll be working with town, I don't want him around.

I've seen players go in hard on those who didn't put a Day 1 vote. I just didn't expect to see 2 others who didn't vote.

I agree with this point. Doesn't seem like many people are talking about it.
But I really don't think a scum player would come forward as a bidder on D1, and then turn around and start NKing the N0 bidders.
Raises too much suspicion if a known bidder makes it deep into the game.
That's why I think that Christina, and CornBurrito are both townies.
Also, Based on their reactions to discussions throughout the day phase, I really don't believe that either El Topo, Kark, Ynnek7, or Lone Prodigy have seen the bidding process yet.
I only point this out because I definitely think that scum has seen the bidding process, and have discussed it in their chat. And as such, wouldn't be asking any of the questions surrounding it that these four have been.
I also believe Magnum's neutral claim, and he isn't a pressing matter for today, but also remains a safe lynch for a time when we're unsure what to do going forward.
That leaves *Splinter, Stanley, nin, Sawneeks, Ocean, Kyanrute, Kalor, Star, Dragonz and melon to look through as potential scum.
List is a bit longer than I was hoping but there are probably 3 scum players in this game, and we haven't found any yet

Also it looks like we're both in a precarious situation, likely targets from both sides.

The bolded gives me an idea.
If we intentionally give items to Magnum after the items are used, we can remove him from the game without wasting a lynch on him. This relies on at least some of the items being x-shot (or not useful). This also assumes we believe he satisfies his win condition at 2 items stolen.
If Dusk is telling the truth about his item, and both he and Magnum survive today, then I assume Magnum will steal the Xbox. That would mean we only have to get 1 more item to Magnum to remove him.
That's a lot of if's. I normally wouldnt be so willing to let 2 top lynch candidates go free just to aid a neutral, but y'know, WAMD is right there.

1. Magnum lied. Whatever trust he may have deserved was gone the second he lied. Not lynching him is very problematic.

No. The only one that would be "wasting" a lynch is mafia, as they want to get rid of town (power) roles. You're not making any sense here.

20 players, probably 4 scum. Let's keep things simple by assuming 1 kill per night. Scum need 6 mislynches to win the game. It doesn't matter if it's a town or neutral lynch, if we make 6 non-scum lynches then we lose. If we choose to lynch a neutral that leaves us with 5, and we already made 1 yesterday. That's 4 mislynches remaining with 4 scum still to find, we'd need a 50% hit rate from here on out.
And lynching scum doesn't change those numbers at all. Pretend we lynch 3 scum in a row, that leaves 14 players and 1 scum = scum still need 6 mislynches to win.

I'm not sure if I agree with the line of thinking that we help our neutral. Nothing Mags has done thus far has suggested his in it for anyone but himself.
I think not that of a logical reason why he would ever role claim such a thing on D2? No one besides Kark was actively looking at him today. I can't help but think it is a ploy to protect someone.

He claimed on D1 when Kark was threatening to override him.
And just to clarify I have no interest in helping the neutral. I beleive this is our best play, and it's only coincidentally helpful to Magnum.

i have kinda turned around on WAMD. mostly thanks to how she is still barely saying anything.
basically its my brain thinking she is logically clearly scum. but my gut is strongly pointing the other way.
i cant say i push against her being lynched, but i wont be voting for it.
Magnum, while im not super sure how to go about this since i haven't really had experience with this kinda neutral situation before. i definitely think we would be better off with him gone. but whether to lynch him today or find some other means of dealing with him, not really sure.
Kinda unrelated to the goings on, but personally i get a townie vibe from melon. not really much more than my gut to base this on, but eh, there it is.
actually the same goes for StarSketch
i have increasing concerns over Nin, Kalor, and Ynnek. i feel like all 3 have said barely anything of import the whole game. (kinda hypocritical with my recent inactivity, i know but hey, being a hypocrite doesn't mean i cant be right!.)
i appreciate that splinter appears to have cool off of his hyper aggresive scumhunting, and instead has downgraded to a mere "extra aggresive". i really am not a fan of the hyper aggression, as i feel putting players on that much of a defensive is just as likely to make a townie look bad as it will a scummer.
and to top it all off.

but this is where i feel best about where our lynch should go today.
even putting aside all the good points made about how much can be learned by this lynch one way or the other. damn near everything you have done in this game has set off the alarm bells in my gut that i have learned to trust.
now then, its 3 am. so imma go sleep.
personally i hope to see dusk lynched. but if it goes the way of magnum the ill be pretty okay with that, and if its wamd then ehh it could be worse.

As far as I've noticed in this game circle of ours, neutrals fuck Town over every time. Leaving them alive just isn't a great policy. It's especially odd if someone else is making those promises for him.
He barely hinted at something on D1 before the buzzer. I cautioned him to not claim, evening

I have laid out my entire role on the table. I am totally willing to play ball with town, no matter what you guys want to happen...except for lynching me of course.
I don't know who to vote for. Scum would obviously want to focus on the Magnum lynch since that protects one of them for the day and I don't know if Dusk is scum, especially with the increase in votes he's gotten today. I'll put a vote on Dragonz for now. I said yesterday that their slip isn't necessarily indicative of them being scum but I don't know who else to vote for.
