Animated Ghostbusters spinoffs The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters are being released one episode per week for free on YouTube:

I haven't seen The Real Ghostbusters so this is great news. I have only seen Extreme GB and it was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. I think it has aged well and it has some really scary episodes. They have uploaded few episodes so far. I recommend watching it.

Two episodes I remember most from when I was a kid are "night game" and "Knock, Knock"
Doooo not open untill doooommsssdayyyy.
From what I remember, Knock Knock has some ideas that were originally meant for GB2 (the train becoming a monster is the main one)
also this plays while a bunch of ghosts get blasted out of a train window.

If you're going to revisit it, all the best stuff is from the S2. Basically "Knock, Knock" through "The Hole in the Wall Gang". After that they were infamously forced to tone down the show and make a bunch of crazy changes - Like Janine was no longer allowed to have angular glasses because pointy objects might scare children... =P

I remember hearing that they did something similar to the X-Men animated series at some point. There had to reduce the action.

Someone found the promo pilot of The Real Ghostbusters and scanned it in HD few years ago:

Great news! I loved that show. The Boogieman was so creepy and I had a lot of nightmares after that episode as a kid.

My favorite episode is Ragnarok and Roll - creepy apocalypse stuff. I vaguely remembered Arsenio Hall voiced Winston.

My favorite episode has been uploaded:

That was really scary as a kid but I still watched it often. They have also uploaded Fear Itself that is also great.

I remember thinking that The Real Ghostbusters was the shit on Saturday mornings when I was like 8 or 9.

Then I got older and "Extreme" came out and I was like "this is for babies!" - probably because I was like 16 when it aired.
