heidern said:K) The game was never in development for the Gamecube. They simply announced a realistic Zelda game for the GC to keep the system relevent. It did it's job. Early next year they'll announce it has been "moved" to the Revolution, and they'll justify it by saying it needed the revolutionary features to e done justice to.

I have wited this long and this would be ok with me.
Specially if it has been designed ground up for the Rev and they have been showing dumbed down graphics on purpose.
It would be a wise bussiness move to release it with Rev to showcase new control.
It would push systems much more then say ... Luigi's Mansion did.

i wish i wasn't so lazy so that I could bookmark posts like this and then make a thread filled with those quotes the day Zelda:TP is released for Cube.Goreomedy said:Ported to Revolution. Don't let false assurances convince you otherwise.
Baron Aloha said:I think they delayed it because the Revolution isn't due out for another 8-10 months and they needed something significant for the GC to fill the gap.
To counter these rumors, Nintendo UK's public relations manager stated that the company "always said that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will appear on Nintendo GameCube and this is still very much the case."
Yeah, their are alot of great games out now. Try playing other games while you wait for this.

Error2k4 said:second one is very doubtful seeing as everyone that played the demo at E3 had extremely positives reaction for it.
I say it was delayed because they want to polish the game to hell and back same thing they did with Pikmin 2.

Never thought i'd see that word here.Wyzdom said:envergure
RE4 was a small and confined world, while Zelda has a HUGE world you can't ask for the same details in both games.Flynn said:Yep. You and Evilromero are right. The game as we saw it at E3 was pretty ugly. The textures had that blurry N64 feel. Very underwhelming.
I'd like to see the characters revamped -- especially those mush-faced villagers.
They should be aiming for RE4 quality scenery, which the demo version was still straining to reach.
I know they can do it. I'm just not confident that they'll do it in time for the Gamecube.

that's like asking for MGS-type quality in visuals for GTA.
