Actually, Torre had a pretty good point just a few moments ago in the press conference about that play. He was saying that he was upset with the umpires because there was a player in the baseline in front of A-Rod (and you can clearly see it in that pic) who didn't have the ball, which is also interference. So he was disappointed in the way the call went because of that.

while im in a pissy mood i got beef with jeter. in the first inning he swings at the first pitch. if its one problem i got with jeter its that hes almost always first pitch swinging and it does work sometimes but when hes leading off i dont like it one bit. so he didnt take any pitches plus he DOESNT bunt. i was POSITIVE jeter was bunting with schillings ankle and all. i just dont get it.

and arod and sheff not getting hits in the 8th is just unacceptable. especially arod, anything less than a double there is unacceptable. i let him slide with a single but i wouldnt be happy.
