I'm glad the Yankees are out, but I think if a lot of you lived on the east coast and had to put up with the incessant whining and drama queen antics of Red Sox fans you wouldn't be so full of love for them. Red Sox fans talk entirely too much shit for a team that hasn't won anything and has redefined the term choke year after year. It's not like one year erases all that.

i don't think people are as full of love for the RedSox, as much as they are full of hatred for the Yankees. Seeing them pull off possibly the biggest chokejob in the history of sports is great fun, no matter who they are playing.

Red Sox have beaten us before.. decades ago I think. It didn't curse the Yanks so I think we'll definitely get over this.. but you are right.. the incessant whining and bitching of Red Sox fans and you have to shut them up any way possible. It's like scratching a black board.. Too annoying.

I'm an Angels fan at heart, so I was pretty mad when they sweeped them this year. But above that, I'm a fan of baseball and what the Red Sox are doing is historic and that's why I'm rooting for them.

I really don't understand the Yankee hate and I've been a fan of them since the mid 70's. Someone should explain this.
