I hate baseball. I hate the Red Sox. But I hate the Yankees most of all. Fuck the Yankees, suck it down losers. Florida owned your asses in your home stadium, and now the Sox have too. It's about time the mystique was kicked to the curb. Better hope baseball never gets a salary cap, b/c the gravy train will be over. Now for the Sox to choke in the WS and either the Stros or Cards to win. I can't fucking stand the Sox and their obnoxious fans. Boston deserves another century's worth of misery. You guys got the fucking Pats anyway. And not the old school punching-bag Pats anymore either. Two championships in one year? Boston will float off into space with all the big heads they'll have up there. No thanks. Let's go NL. Wait a minute....let's go football. :D PEACE.

P.S. I welched on my boycott for about half an hour last night. I flipped to FOX just as Damon hit the GS. I was like, "nice HR, that should offer some help." Then the announcer said it was a grand slam, and I got this big shit-eating grin on my face. :D The only thing that kept me watching, b/c I fully expected the Boston Stranglers to put in a classic choke last night.
you fail to realize the yankees owned baseball wayyyy before free agency.

thank you, goodbye.

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.

Some Astros fans started a Web site _ KeepBeltran.com _ pledging to donate $25 a person to Beltran's favorite charity. The site begs: "We might not win a bidding war with the Yankees, but if we all band together we can offer him something much more valuable." By Thursday afternoon, $8,871 had been pledged to the Beltran fund.

Another site _ astrosdaily.com _ had more than 18,000 online signatures on a petition addressed to Astros owner Drayton McLane, urging him to re-sign Beltran.

"In Kansas City, a lot of people didn't know who I was," Beltran said. "In this city, they really want me back. It feels great to hear those things."

Say, does anyone know if Steinbrenner said anything about last night's game, or are they still busy gluing his head back together after it exploded?

Beltran will be the Yankees' center fielder, now matter how much you Astros fans want to deny it. Once you accept that, you can move on with life!

Yup. And then the Yankees are going to turn around and trade Beltran to the Cubs for Sosa.

you know...think about it. Sox are down 3-0 and comeback to win. The most struggling player on the team comes through in game 7 with 6 RBIs.

Seriously, if this was a movie, it'd be total bullshit. You really cannot top this. You cannot script this. un-fucking-real.

Haha, it's so true...I woke up this morning and I still couldn't believe Boston had won. I can't imagine what their fans must be feeling.

These playoffs have been amazing so far. Being a Royals fan, it's nice getting to see our former players get promoted from AAAA to the Major Leagues and enjoy success.

As far as offseason moves, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Hideki Matsui, Gary Sheffield, Mike Mussina, and Mariano Rivera are the only "untouchables" on the Yankees' roster to me. I'd also like to see them re-sign Miguel Cairo at second base, Orlando Hernandez as a 5th starter, John Olerud at first base and John Flaherty at catcher. If they could unload the rest, I'd be a happy man (although that will be impossible due to the fact they are all ridiculously overpaid).

For pitching, there really is no one in the farm system than can really step up and help the club next year. Of course, I hope the Yanks can trade for Randy Johnson. But there are a couple FA starters I'd like to see them go after: Brad Radke, Matt Clement, and Eric Milton (only if they do not get Unit). I wonder if Billy Wagner or Eddie Guardado would be willing to move to the set-up role like Gordon did?
