LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.

I wasn't even talking about you so how about you mind your business?

How about you stop coming in this thread and calling people bandwagon fans when you know nothing about them.

Miguel has been a fan of the Red sox long before they won this WS,douche. You just post too much shit in this thread and its annoying as hell.

I didn't care about this playoffs anymore after my Astros lost, but I just wanted to say congrats to Red Sox nation... well deserved and long overdue.

With that said, what a horrible world series that was.... should never have 4 games sweeps in the series, that's just sad.

Whatever Matrix it's nice that you're blind to the hypocrisy. I won't get into an argument with you so may as well shut up right now.

Btw can one of you guys post the link of that RED SOX site that was posted a while back during the WHO'S YOUR DADDY? tshirt thing? It was that site that wanted the shirts pulled from MLB.com

Btw I agree with Mashing that the WS sucked. Hard to top YANKS SOX so can't blame both teams.

It was almost anticlimatic after the ALCS. But I doubt that's going to matter much once the duckboats start plowing through throngs of people on Friday. Next few days will be crazy.

Congrats to the SAWKS fans! My dad is a Sox fan from way back when with Teddy Ballgame, so I'm happy for him, but really happy for all the chowds!

I don't know if anyone saw this on ESPNews today, but they were interviewing the son of the man they claimed was the oldest person in the world. His father is 113, and the son was 84. They both live in the same nursing home and were both Red Sox fans. Good story, considering the son was born two years after the last WS. He said he tapes the games for his dad so that he can watch them in the daytime. Brian Kenney asked him what it was like to watch baseball back then, and the son replied "they didn't have TV back then." LOL

this is the greatest moment in boston sports history. i am so glad for all the older generation sox fans that finally got to see their team take it all, especially for my 83 year old grandfather. this win will change the city forever. i cant really put my own feelings into words yet since i am still in a state of shock. the red sox hardly ever sweep regular season series against the devil rays, so the thought of them sweeping out the cardinals in the world series is unfathomable.

billy buckner is going to have a great night of sleep tonight.

this was a pretty historic thing to see, whether you're a Boston fan or not. You have to think, Red Sox fans have lived and died without seeing their team win a title. Its pretty fuckin crazy.

Oh baby don’t it feel like heaven right now
Don’t it feel like somethin’ from a dream
Yeah I’ve never known nothing quite like this
Don’t it feel like tonight might never be again
We know better than to try and pretend
Baby no one could have ever told me ’bout this

The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more card
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part

Well yeah I might have chased a couple of women around
All it ever got me was down
Then there were those that made me feel good
But never as good as I feel right now
Baby you’re the only one that’s ever known how
To make me wanna live like I wanna live now

The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more ca rd
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part

Don’t let it kill you baby, don’t let it get to you
Don’t let ’em kill you baby, don’t let ’em get to you
I’ll be your breathin’ heart, I’ll be your cryin’ fool
Don’t let this go to far, don’t let it get to you

DAMN! I just got back from jersey and boylston near Fenway! CHAOS!!!

First off I'm not a baseball ball fan. I only payed attention to the world series since my hometown was in it. Tonite me and my buddy was playing Halo all evening and when his wife called him home I decided to turn on the game and watch it.... Top of the 8th and its 3 zip. I'm like "OH SHIT! The Sox are actually going to sweep the series!" Obviously history is in the making and I want to be right smack dab in the middle of it. I call my cousin up and tell that we gotta go down to Fenway. He agrees and picks me up. We drive down to around the Museum of fFine arts and park the car.... hordes of drunken college students from Northeastern and Wentworth are streaming towards Fenway we follow. The shear madness and chaos in the streets is amazing! People screaming, crying dancing, climbing streetlights it was a zoo! College girls flashing their titties. Funniest moment of the night was a group of drunk guys taking pictures of the mayhem and breasts chanting "WE'LL TAKE A CUPS!" *clap clap clapclapclap*. It was all fun and games until the fuzz showed up. Me and my cousin are having a good time watching folks dance in the streets and lighting up fire crackers when I look back and see the frickin SWAT team advancing on us in tight formation. I back away from main street into an alley to watch them go by and guess what? The fucking pigs started sparying evryuone with pepper spray! With absolutely no warning they descend upon the crowd with cans of mace and pepper spray in hand! Not one single warning! Needless to say chaos erupts. I bolt down the alleyway before it turned into a bottle neck but when I got to the other street I only see a wall of people running towards us. The stupid ass cops coraled us into a damn back street with no where to go. Or so it seems. As it begins to get crowded in the little street I notice a couple of folks trying to hop a fence near a construction site to the side. Me and my cousin decide to follow suit and hops the fence and haul ass back o the car. On the way back we see various scenes of folks standing around being loud and being randomly sprayed with mace by the frickin cops. We got back to the car and made our way home safely.

A wild night indeed! :D

I can understand the cops trying to keep law and order in the streets but I think that as citizens we are entitled to a damn warning before the long arm of the law decides to pimp slap us. I lot of folks were video taping thenights events and I can imagine the Boston Police Department is going to be hip deep in complaints tommorrow.

And yes i'm a dumbass.... I was so excited that I left without my camera. =^(

Yea holy shit Boston was insane. I was pretty awkward because I'm from Long Island and I'm a Yankee fan. But I needed to go and see. It was all fun with the titties and stuff until the cops showed up like Cimarron said. It was college students vs. cops. I was right on the front line. People getting sprayed and stuff. The worst was when we were standing off against the police. We would be standing maybe 20 feet apart in lines. We (the students) would start chanting USA! USA! USA! or something of the like, and the cops would just stand there. But then they would throw one or two flashbangs (or whatever make those loud BANGS...maybe firecrackers...whatever) into the crowd to get us moving and then they would march towards us. They also mixed in some tear gas I think. This continued for about 2 hours until the completely surrounded us and a brawl broke out and yea...It was insane.

Jesus fuck...

St. Louis is Boston's bitch.

"Weird fact in case you missed it: The Celtics won their first championship against St. Louis (1957); the Bruins broke a 41-year Stanley Cup drought against St. Louis (1970); and the Patriots won their first Super Bowl against St. Louis (2002). Hey, I'm just the messenger."

Thank God baseball's finally over. Oh yeah, congrats to the Sox for kicking the curse in the ass. But I guess this means a century's worth of trash talk to compliment the century of misery they just emerged from. The sun will probably explode now and send us hurtling off into bizarro world. Some things aren't meant to happen. This is one of them. PEACE.

I'm psyched its all over too. I can get some sleep finally. I watched the game at my friends condo on Comm Ave and Beacon St in Kenmore Sq. Her balcony faces Fenway (12th floor). The crowd was insane. It was mostly a good spirited crowd though. We were walking around 1 hr before the game and the cops were in FULL FORCE.

During the 4th-6th innings, there was this line of Riot Gear cops filed 2 by 2, about 20 men long marching down Yawkey Way, across Ipswitch and up Landsdowne. They then marched into Kenmore and came back for another round. That was kind of disturbing. The cops definately made their presence early on.

YAHOO! SOOOOOOOX WIN!

I had a dream last night where the cards would always score enough runs to tie the game. This happened three or four times then I thought "Didn't the Sox already win?" so reality started to invade my dream until I eventually woke up. :lol It gave me a headache actually.

anyone else find it funny that the 1918 sox won a world series and then traded babe ruth, and the 2004 sox won a world series and might trade pedro or manny?
