The Rock is awesome. Ever since he left I stopped watching wrestling. Shit ain't as interesting as it used to be when he was there. Now he's off making shitty movies. Ugh why.

Someone PLEASE find the "Thomas Jefferson sucka!" line when he's talking to Booker T. So good.

The Rock was so awesome. Who do they have now? Randy Orton? John Cena? Pretenders.

The Rock paved the way for Obama to become President. It's a fact.

That voice entered our houses every Monday night, and it somehow made it to Pennsylvania Avenue.

Hahaha, yeeeeeeeeeeeeep. I always said he should spoof him.

lots of money and little chance of getting hurt so badly you can't walk normally again... just a guess

I watched wrestling when I was little and stopped all the way up until this kid in high school told me to check out this funny guy in the Nation of Domination. I was hooked. But when the Rock left, so did I (as it seems so many in this topic did as well)

Hell, I'm still getting over the loss of WCW :/

late but FU! :lol :lol

The Rock leaving caused me to stop watch wrestling. Randomly Ill watch it but its not the same. the PPV events are cool to see in person though.

Wow, I just got chills watching one of those videos. Fucking memories of such a great era in middle and early high school. Nothing will ever be the same.

The guy was hilarious. The best ever IMO. I was never a wrestling fan, but I would stop anytime I surfed past wrestling and he was talking. My god he was hilarious.

When I first heard him call that face he made the 'peoples eyebrow' I just died.

This man is all kinds of awesome. I miss the attitude era. Stone cold, the rock, mankind, the ministry, the corporation, original DX, the nation. I remember watching Austin drive his truck to the ring and proceed to beat the snot out of the nation. One of my favorite matches ever.

IT WAS ME AUSTIN, IT WAS ME ALLLLLLL ALONG!

Greatest storyline ever.

:lol :lol

Rocky is a class act. I remember when he first debuted on the WWF as Rocky Maivia. God I used to love watching the WWF back in the days. And yes, the story arcs with Steve Austin were usually the best.

The rock was at his height during the Royal Rumble 2000 era. Including the No Way Out, the Wrestlemania 2000 (the best wrestlemania hands down; a mcmahon in every corner), the Backlash and Judgement Day were fucking class. His feud with Triple H was fucking entertaining as anything his wrestlemania 17 match against Austin was so good.. The only thing that I saw as a lull in his career was when he came back with those tatoos and shaved head and had a beef with the hurricane. wtf.

Probably the only wrestler who's persona will never age. Pretty much every wrestler I liked back in the day are cheesy as hell now (and were back then as I re-watch a lot of the older videos on YouTube) but the Rock's act is pretty much timeless ten years later. Greatest of all time imo.

Ah yeah, the Rock. Now that I think about it my interest in pro wrestling dwindled as The Rock was getting into movies more. So I guess I'm in the same boat as a lot of folks. I don't think there is anyone that could cut a Promo like he could.

I also quit watching around the time Rock/Stone Cold left and WCW dudes started entering the picture.

Attitude Era was fun as all hell, many great storylines, lots of charisma, was basically a teenage boy version of a soap opera.

I saw in passing through channels the other day that they have brought back DX but it's just HHH and Shawn Michaels...bleh. Do the other guys even wrestle anymore?

I've always hated John Cena because of how he looks. His upper body is just too fucking big for me to take seriously. Austin was fit of course but still looked like he could be a regular joe construction worker. The Rock was huge but he never had that body builder steroid injected look that Cena has.

The Rock leaving and Mick Foley's first (?) retirement from the WWE made me quit watching.

First time it ever felt like it was as good as the better 80's stuff.

I wonder if it'll ever be that good again? :(

The Rock - G.O.A.T imo

this thread makes me feel like i'm 15 all over again...

too funny when he would over do the peoples elbow and just get silly with it :lol

once he left I never watched again.

Ah another nice find on youtube gonna have to spend some time watching many of those. Rock had some great segments...

EDIT: Watching one of those skits with Jonathan Coachman made me remember... I Was flipping thorough ESPN recently, and he's a friggin anchorman on there now! He apparently also introduces Mike and Mike in the morning.

I laughed for a good long time when I saw him doing "serious" work.

Fuck, I loved that era of wrestling, the Texas Rattlesnake, the People's Champion, the Game, Mick Foley, the Hardy boys/Dudley boys insane PPV matches, I even liked Undertaker as the American Bad Ass.
