Yes it appears so, and fuck I want to actually watch wrestling for the 1st time in a decade.

He was GOLDEN. Hell I loved the bit where he was making fun of how lame everyone in the WWE is now. He was like you went from Austin 316 and the People's champ to wtf is this can you see me shit? LOLz

"never going away" is a far cry away from "host of ppv(which he is doing" and flavor of the month temp com back.

and yes, i'll be watching again after many years

the greatest thing is he looks in great shape. old men returning is nice but so much steam gone.

The power of an awesome heel should not be underestimated. I watched WWE til Cena turned face, then there was nothing left more me and I have since quit watching wrestling.

WTB heels that can play their role well and don't end up going face. I suppose that is why this board loves Christian so much...

Watching the videos, it seems I really missed out by getting in to WWF after the Rock went face permanently. I always thought of him as rather boring (lol watch me remove my elbow pads and have the SUPER ELBOW DROP OF DOOM) but I could see myself really enjoying him as an antagonist.

The US version that aired live had one bleep.. then they said screw it and didn't bother with the rest of them.

They gave up on censoring after the first ass in the US but they made sure it continued with the UK broadcast. Got to hear Bitch etc in US

he's a confirmed host for wrestle mania early next month but he said "i'm back and i'm never ever going away".

those are strong words.

most of the time his return is a few weeks.
 
I haven't followed wrestling in years. Are there any wrestlers he can work off of well? Back in my days (lol), he had Stone Cold, Undertaker, Jericho, Kurt Angle, HBK, HHH to work with. Any of them left? I can't help but think The Rock came back several years too late but we'll see. I'll try to catch Raw next week!

I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a heel turn and is all like "Oh, did I promise I was never going anywhere? Got yall, jabronis!" and go back to movies. Might hurt his movie career though lol.

The Rock going heel might be enough to make me watch WWE again. I can't watch wrestling without AMAZING heels, and The Rock is just the man for the job.

I also forgot about and now miss Kurt Angle. Angle Lock bitches! *Goes to find Kurt Angle's theme on youtube*

Oh lord and JBL. He wasn't so much a heel as he was a WWE themed troll who had absolutely no business being competitive for a title and got pushed anyways. From APA to title competition with a gimmick as an oil tycoon? With an entrance where he drove in in a limo with steer horns? SO DAMN GOOD.

In hindsight, I think I watched wrestling almost exclusively for the heels.

The Rock's one of those special people where it doesn't matter if they are face or heel. I miss those days. I was cracking up at all the little kids in the seats booing, they know nothing. And heres to hoping the PG rating is slowly dying. I was wondering if he was going to be able to say all those things, and luckily only one thing was bleeped.
 
I really doubt he'll be back for any significant amount of time, hes got fast five releasing in a few months, another movie in production, and hes tied to a couple of others as well.

Hopefully he'll be popping in more often now, but he certainly won't be full time.
 
I can't believe The Rock is back. I must be psychic because i thought i would be so cool if The Rock showed up tonight. Oh well, ITS TIME TO WATCHING WWE AGAIN!
