The Series S could now be running games using their One X profile

So, on Xbox when you click on a game tile and select options you can view certain file info on the game.

This has been handy in the past as it has shown which enhanced games can be ran of external drives with their enhancements (like Halo: MCC, Rocket League, Ori and Sea of Thieves)

Well, now it appears to have been updated to show certain games like Forza Motorsport 7 running their One X profile.

The Series S already runs OG Xbox and enhanced 360 games on their enhanced profile, but at native 1440p instead of 4k. Could this be similar?

This would be huge for Series S owners. However the console does have the required 4K pipeline, so I doubt it.

the post has been deleted & so has the account that posted it

edit: plus it was locked by the mods of r/XboxSeriesS and hasn't had any comments in 2+ days, it seems pretty obvious that this has been debunked

Damn I was just about to say this would be nice. Seems its wishful thinking or BS?

The Series S could do 4K on some games, but running Xbox One X versions of games via back compat would be a problem because the Xbox One X has 12 GB of RAM and the Series S has 10.
