Apparently this was from an episode in early December, but I searched "simpsons champions" and got no results, plus I've given up on watching the show...

Fox Truck: We are the champions.....
The Fox news truck is seen driving by in the background with a huge Bush/Cheney sign on the side while playing "We are the Champions" by Queen. This is a double reference. First of all, it is yet another jab at Fox by The Simpsons. Secondly, it is a joke about how FOX News is notoriously biased in favor of Republican causes.

Is there a clip of this anywhere? Is it as hilarious as it sounds?

It didn't strike me as funny at the time...true, maybe, but not as hysterical as the Fox News ticker they had a couple of seasons back.

Oh yea, I remember that episode. it was probably the highlight of the episode and it gave me a laugh, but it didn't save it from being another weak showing. I can pm you the link to the episodes torrent if you like, but it's not really worth the time it would take to d/l.

Yeah its quite funny and unsettleling at the same time in that the truck that rolls in is one of those huge mobile press tank trailers painted in blue with the official FOX logo and huge official Bush/Chaney 2004 election logo painted across it. FOX actually used these.
