"First you didn't want the pony. Now you want me to take it back! Make up your mind!"what are they talking about here?
Yes they did, I think Homer became friends with them or something.
Did Ned's parents ever make a return/get fleshed out/get ruined in later seasons?

Correct... although in THAT particular episode, the character artist didn't bother to consider the fact that their son was 60 years old and that they should be aged accordingly. They were also at the wedding to Edna.

Bearing in mind that they've seemed to have dropped that aspect as of recent. There was a scene in the beginning of a recent episode which takes place in the early '80's and you can clearly see kid Flanders right there, in front of the city hall.Correct... although in THAT particular episode, the character artist didn't bother to consider the fact that their son was 60 years old and that they should be aged accordingly.
That no-good draft dodger. Typical son of a beatnik he is.The problem is he looks so young so the writers probably forget his age all the time.
Oh, and if he was 60 in a 1999 episode, he was born in 1939. If you assume time doesn't pass so everyone is still the same age as in 1987, he was born in 1927. He could have been drafted for World War II in 1945.
It's BTO -- they're Canada's answer to ELP. Their big hit was TCB.
The guy in the green shirt is frozen in anger.
Goodbye son!
Canal Fox in Latin America has been airing those for a while now. Not only is the image awfully cropped, but a lot of them seem to have audio issues when watching them dubbed to Spanish, like certain background noises being completely muted.WELL FECK IT! Sky 1 is now officially showing the ruined HD episodes of classic Simpsons. All in their cropped, DNR'd, edge enhanced glory. If there's anything that could get me to stop watching the episodes, it's that. Both because of less image area and because the whole thing makes it more claustrophobic in my eyes.
Sigh. I wish something could be done about this. But I'm only...one man.Canal Fox in Latin America has been airing those for a while now. "THEY'LL CLOG THE INSTRUMENTS!"
"Careful! They're ruffled!"
Tonight's episode was the last episode in the Season 26 production run. Since Sam Simon likely died before he could sign for Season 27, he can't be credited as an Executive Producer anymore.Whoa, what?

His "Developed by" credit at the beginning of every episode will remain forever on the show (I'm guessing this also applies to his "Original Character Design" credit in the closing credits).
