I thought this was something nice in Marge on the Lam.
It's a nice, subtle piece of animation that likely wouldn't be found in modern Simpsons. But beyond that, it also conveys a lot about the two characters. In just a small moment, we see the difference between tough Ruth and Marge that ends up setting the stage for their relationship and the remainder of the episode. It really speaks to how well done every aspect of golden era Simpsons is.
