The old Treehouse of Horrors were so good.

"Where did he go?"
"Over here, my friends. Or is it over here?"
I think my favorite thing about this is how none of the kids in Milhouse's imagination are actually from the Shelbyville gang.

Man those first two bumps were goddamned amazing, though it kinda falls apart later in the video once it stops being edited clips, and just whole scenes with toonami music playing.

My thoughts exactly. The second one was the best, the first one relied too much on Who Shot Mr. Burns.

What show is that from? This is The Simpsons thread.

Looks like The Simpsons to me. Season 13, mind you... but still The Simpsons.

Seeing how Abe crashing the car into things because he's old is always funny, here it is again from Season 21.

Come on guys don't be jerks just because I like some of The Simpsons past season 9 :(

Let's just say I have a higher level of tolerance than you.
I never watch any past-season 14 episode anyway.

There are great bits here and there in those later Simpsons :

...or we can just agree to disagree.

Nah, I'll agree to agree. There ARE great bits in later Simpsons. They're just fewer and further between.

I called attention to it because inky was making a big deal about a Season 13 pic as if it was from Season 25.

Or let's just agree that I was just joking, just like the last time you posted new Simpsons stuff :p

I like stuff such as holidays of Future Passed quite a bit. (LOL making a "big deal" sheesh).

Ha ! I didn't recognize your username ! I was getting a little bit defensive because I thought more and more people just kept jumping on me because I liked older seasons. But if that's more like a running gag, then I can take it without getting all "Crazy Cat Lady" on you :D

Haha, see, that's what I'm talking about ! I'll admit that season 10-14 get a pass from me mostly because I grew up during their first airing, so I might be nostalgia-blinded by them. I remember seasons before that and prefer them over the new ones, but these are the ones that left me the most vivid memories.

Oh no! Now the militant classic fans won't find this funny anymore!

This got a good laugh from me in the google glass thread:

Yeah, that bit is great too ! Steal This Episode is a good season 25th episode. Since The Simpsons might come to an end next season, we might as well try to get the most fun out of more recent episodes before there's no more.

No worries. We all love The Simpsons and that is why we are here. The last thing I want to do is stir drama on one of the threads that gives me the most laughs.

Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to get back to work. These pretzels aren't going to inspect themselves.

I actually thought the movie piracy episode was pretty funny.

Obviously not in the same timeless fashion of a golden age episode, but more a throw-away 'current sitcom funny' type thing.

Still had me laughing a lot though which is better than usual as far as new episodes go.

That's fine by me ! I have to practice playing the Sting theme song on my organ.

"Wait ! Wait ! I can do this !"

I don't agree to that.

Neither do I.

Hahaha, you disagree to agreeing to disagree ? Oh boy... well, that's my floor !

So what's the price? For some reason it was $300 on Amazon today because Chris Pirillo got one and was building it live on YouTube. The price kept rising as they sold out.

What's the actual price? The retail price? Can I actually buy this or will it be a stupid bullshit limited edition? Surely it can't be $300 because the Death Star cost less than that and was much bigger.

I think I could probably swallow $200. I'd have to think about it though. I'd rather it be $100-150 at most. But not $300. Where did the ones on Amazon (And the other stores affiliated with them) get the ones they're selling? Or are they only selling pre-orders like with the Wind Waker HD LE?

Edit:
I believe the retail price is officially $199.
I'm shocked at the number of LEGO review YouTube shows there are out there. Just finished watching The Brick Show's review of the Simpsons House set. These guys are hardcore about their LEGO.
My God. I am pretty sure that would be me right now if I hadn't lost interest in LEGO in the mid-'90s. I always regretted giving them up. I still love them.

The attention to detail is stunning. But it has some things wrong. The toilet paper is hanging backwards. (In the "correct" underhand fashion according to Home Sweet Home-Diddly-Dum-Doodly instead of the "incorrect" overhand fashion.) Also the kitchen side should be on the other side if you ask me. Although that's completely wrong anyway as it's also missing the front dining room. Seems a lot of the house is flipped. The bedrooms are also on the wrong sides. I wonder if you could potentially build it reversed if you were so inclined without needing extra pieces.

I hope someone gets fired for those blunders.

Here in the UK I think it was in the region of £200 or so.

That is the rarest LEGO of them all, carved by LEGO artisans who work exclusively in the medium of LEGO.

$200. I am going to buy me one of them Simpson houses. Incorrect layout or not, it's still goddamned cool. And it looks like the box can be easily opened without ruining it like when I was a kid. Would make a great display piece. I just don't know where I'd put it.

Completely forgot about this thread. I loved the first one. I wish this one was named differently, not due to Simpsons reference, but I can't view it at work.
