When was the last time we had a movie about Air Combat? Was it Stealth?

We really do need to get the romance back into air combat. Inspire some people.

I dreamed about the air force when I was a kid, but my health and eyes are garbage. :/

Wasn't Stealth Navy as well? What is up with the B squad getting all the love? Most famous USAF scenes are spy planes getting downed. (biased 10-yr USAF Vet ha)

If you get a designated fighter you likely won't need to worry much about that anytime soon.
Get scrambled to run the Russians off every so often however.

They have adverts for enlisting in the RAF on the TV which have the line "Thought the only job in the air force was being a pilot? Think again!" And it shows all these other, basically way less cool things you can do at a desk or in a hangar. "Yeah, you could do all this boring shit, too!" Not sure the ad works.

Have they tried getting rid of their mandatory and unconstitutional religious oath? Maybe they can get a few atheist pilots to fill those seats.
