After the last couple only took a few weeks, it's understandable.
I personally don't see why moving to Community was such a big deal, but people are weird.

Yup. The only hope now is to wait for a legitmate peice of news to come down the pike, post it on the Gaming forum, and hope it sticks as the unofficial Wii U Speculation topic.

Why has GAF just turned into a forum to post anime pictures/gifs? It ruined the Media Create thread and it's quickly making me want to leave this thread alone as well.

Speaking of Warioware, we often forget, but it would be a great title to have early in the lifecycle again.

Why the hell did they discontinue Smooth Moves? I thought it was great, though some of the IR control off. It was all in good fun, though, and you could often master even the wonky minigames.

I think we'll see more stuff like Rhythm Heaven on the Wii U than Wario Ware.

For reals though. Is everyone here 100% getting the WiiU at launch, or is there anyone waiting to be sold at E3? I want to say "hey I'm definitely day 1" but so far...this is where I'm at: I may or may not want Pikmin 3 right away, depending on how it has come together.

So that's only 1 game I'm not sure I want day 1 or not even if I were to buy the console. Don't get me wrong, Pikmin is good and it's something I want to play, but not enough to sell me on hardware.

But I guess if Nintendo reveals good launch games and a good launch window then I'll jump in. Multiplat games don't count as I can get them without buying the wiiU, but if I do own that then I'll buy multiplat games for it to show support of course.

Day 1 unless Team Ninja is showing off a Wii U game at E3 instead of Retro.

I'm pretty much the same. I'd love to, but I can't be burned again... Especially on a student's budget.

I can see something like that for Wii U where the controller is on the stand while you do this and the subsequent vids can be shown to your friends.

Mmmm, nah. Iwata's hair is up there with new game announcements so you'd have to have some very good hair to achieve that level of excitement.

feel you on that man, so much money needs to go to so many places, I only invest in games I know I'll love a ton these days, so hardware is gonna have to blowmeawayyy with everything it offers.

Also I should mention that if this thing is more than 299 like 349+, then I expect more than a ton.

I decided to get just one console next generation (I got all 3 this generation, and regretted it), and yes, I'm 100% behind the Wii-U. Nintendo makes more exclusives that I enjoy than the other two consoles, chances are high most multiplat games will have the best controls on Wii-U between Wii Remote and the touchscreen, and it's a darn safe bet that all multiplatform games will be on Wii-U. And my PC can pick up the slack.

Oh, and the fact that it's coming out in just a few months is a big point in its favor, rather than waiting until at least 2013, if not 2014 for the competition.

Well to me, thats alot, I usually don't play games after I beat them, if I do its usually not to 100% them but to replay them from start to finish and usuallly years later. But everyone has diffrent paces...

Day 2: Microsoft's Conference
Day 3: Sony's Confemce
Day 4: Nintendo's Conference
Day 5-7: Some random megaton talk
Day 7: + epologue.

Also, you guys are making me want to watch this anime show. To bad that I won't have Netflix for 6+ months because I need the money for Wii U. So low on money...

Day 1, no doubt. Everything points to Nintendo having quite a launch, I get their consoles right away every time, and they are going to do some amazing things with some new hardware. I can't forsee them doing anything that would deter me from getting one, I am a fanboy like that.
