Rayman Origins, too, but that game pretty much requires 1080p for maximum value.

You can, but I had the PS3 before these games came out, and there wasn't any incentive to get the worse looking version. I probably would have got Rayman on PC, but that too was announced after I got it.

What other games run on the LyN engine? The demo at E3 2011 was built in 2 months? I doubt it. It must have taken quite a bit of time, they probably started it on PC first.

Red Steel 2 and Beyond Good And Evil 2. Development on Freaks started in 2009, what we saw at E3 last year was a port of 360 code.

The LyN engine produced some stunning visuals on the Wii hardware, Freaks is going to look good.

Why are we doing this? Well, there are numerous reasons. I suppose the most compelling of those would be when everyone from both sites got to talking and said "Wait, why did we merge the forums in the first place?" and no one had an answer. Times have changed, management has changed, and things that sounded good before don't really make sense in hindsight.
