It's dubious. Does the game on 360 show how much time you have spent in it? are you sure you have completed all quests/monster quests? They all covered in the manual, you can check it.

Because no way it's possible to complete the game doing _everything_ in 20 hours. It's easy to miss quests though, there are some not obvious/hidden ones.

you can do everything in like 25-27 hours IF you rush.

Like I said before, played vanilla tw2 for 60h more or less straight using the same rig without any issues but it's cool I'm way beyond spending more than 5h to get a certain game working, uinstalled the game. Might redownload some time in the future.

I don't know. I don't rush through games. I talked to every person I met. I finished every quest I found and never skipped cutscenes ( I hate this ^^).

I read that the enhanced edition features 4 hours of new quests or bonus content in chapter 3.

I finished chapter 3 (it was the worst chapter) in 3 hours so...there's something wrong I guess? ^^

Dark difficulty is loads of fun. Enemies hit brutally hard and take decent punishment so you've really gotta be on your toes when it comes to timing their swings. It also encourages you to use more of the tools at your disposal.

When I beat it on Hard I basically completely ignored Magic outside of the occasional YYYRRRDEN - largely content and able to just use Alchemy and roll dodge + sword thrust/pirouette my way to consistent beatdowns - but even in the prologue sections now I find it's much more beneficial to mix it up more on Dark.

I can't put my finger on it but the game seems to not look as good as I remember it. I need to get more into the main game before jumping to conclusions.

Umm, install went fine last night, but this morning my launcher is still messed up, so I just reinstalled using the patcher in the downloads folder. Lets see if this works.

So, I played it through on normal the first time and it was way to easy (except the very beginning) because of broken quen & roll. Now that quen is fixed, is normal the right difficulty or should I try harder? I like shome challange but don't want to get frustrated.

Installing 360 now, feels like a right deal game is below normal launch day prices and you get a nice map and guide book. Cant wait to play.

Go for hard. It's the perfect difficulty. You will still need to use Quen and rolling a lot but it won't feel like cheating.

Guys, I have a problem. I downloaded the EE patch last night...and it worked perfectly.

I'm going to play the game when I get off of work, today.

Just started the 360 version and was surprised that they changed the section with the eagle eye achievement; I was doing it like the PC one but for 360 you actually aim at the guy instead

GAF! In a bind! Which version? I already own the PC version and downloaded the EE. The 360 version is calling me for some unknown reason! I think it's for the physical box and map and stuff. :(

I know I'm going to end up double dipping. They deserve the money anyway. Dammit!

Is everyone's launcher still dead? I can play the game by digging through the files and using the main .exe, but you can only choose settings and etc through the launcher :/.

Havent noticed much so far. New cutscene between Prologue and Act 1.
I just got to Flotsam so Im not far in.

Sit on couch. Turn on TV. Enjoy.
Avoid master race world problems.

But I've been sitting on my couch and playing on my TV with my 360 controller for like a year now...? I didn't know I had problems.

For me, problems = low FPS, shitty textures, bloom off/on, installer fucked up, patch, edit *.ini etc.
Jesus, im so glad that i have consoles.

But you do have low fps, shitty textures, and can't change the bloom (well, anything) on consoles.

I too sit on my couch, play on a tv with a 360 controller.

What have I done? :(

Edit: I'm just going to stick with my PC version for now. It runs on ultra just fine anyway. The only bummer is my sound card is kind of older (Audigy 2ZS Platinum) and doesn't have an optical out to hit my receiver so I can enjoy surround sound. I'll pick up the Dark Edition somewhere down the road perhaps when it becomes available again.

Witcher folks, I played the first 2 hours of Witcher 1 last week just to get a peek at the first game. Where is the best place to go to read the entire plot to prepare for the 360 Witcher 2?
