The Witcher 3 PS4 gameplay

The game is out in the hands of quite a few and it is highly unlikely that anyone of them are dedicated streamer. It won't be until next week when we start getting quality streams.

Only few got a copy today before stores close, tomorrow we'll be getting better streams for sure.

Honestly,BloodBorne is more impressive visually than this game and much more "visceral".

But hopefully the scale in TW3 makes up for it.

But it seems BloorBorne is by far the most impressive "open worldish" game so far.

Does Bloodborne allow you dialogue and let you do charisma stuff to get around? Does it let you decide who to help and who to believe?

Because I got the impression Bloodborne was more the fantasy game where you are focusing on combat with maybe a story to go with it. It's more playing a game vs. roleplaying in a game.

Where as Witcher tends to focus on combat and playing a character. And choice making. And even deciding on if you are going to fight or talk your way out of things.

I'm not really big on games that focus solely on combat. Sure, they might have better combat, but that's really not my thing. I want good combat, but I want to be able to do other stuff as well. I love dialogue in a game and I love making choices on what my character is going to do.

I've argued today that it's hard to compare Skyrim and Witcher cause they have different goals (one is a game where you create your own story within the stories game, the other is having you play a story with decisions on how your character reaches that character's goals), but they are a lot more similar than a game like Bloodborne to Witcher (and I'd say they are more in the same market than Bloodborne).

So... not really a good game to compare. Unless you just want to compare the combat (it's fair to say perhaps Bloodborne will have better combat but overall as a game which one you prefer probably depends on what you are most looking out of a game. I'll even admit that so far I prefer Elder Scrolls to the Witcher game I played because I really like playing my own character and I like the more focus on telling your own story. But I think I'll really like Witcher 3 for the elements it took from Skyrim as well as its strengths like choices making more a difference to the story).

:O

I love how good it looks.

Why am I still watching.

Must.

Resist.

Poor guy playing the Xbox One version keeps dying to the first ghouls you fight lol.

Looking good. I got a PS4 and XBO, so I guess I'll go PS4, but both look nice. I don't really have any worries about the console versions right now.

i'm getting a weird distortion on the bottom of this stream.

Ok, I watched the tutorial on Xbox One stream and that's enough for me. Holy moly, the hype is even stronger now for me. I absolutely love the way Geralt looks now, especially the whole range of emotions on his face. And the graphics on consoles are nothing to complain about, really.

haha wow.
I played it and the graphics is quite bad IMO.

Wow, the Xbox 1 version looks very different. The hair effects are better on ps4, while the xb1 has better looking environments.

Bloodborne vs Witcher

I am well aware that witcher is much bigger and has much more miscellaneous activities.

But I really don't think TW3 is anymore impressive visually than BloodBorne.

The creatures, geometry and density of objects are much richer in BloodBorne.

I amnot trolling ,that's just my opinion and I could be completely misguided by compressed videos.

In the Witcher 2 it looked really gray unlike how it looked in The Witcher 1 and now in 3.

I agree. It was much greyer in 2. I don't give a toss - I expected the characters to look a bit different as time has passed, right?

The combat looks more satisfying. Replaying TW2 it seems like sometimes the animations were noticeably repetitious.

Psyched.

You must have watched something different from what I have seen, I was watching the High quality PS4 stream and the lower quality xbox stream. PS4 version looked really good. the Xbox one stream didnt really have a good stream so it was impossible to tell how it really looked.

One's an open-world game, the other is not. That's pretty much all there is to it.

They both look good. There seems to be different trinkets turned on and off for both versions.
