The Witcher 3 PS4 gameplay

From where you ordered digital and what platform?

At least GOG, and Steam too afaik, is offering world map as pre-order bonus and in HD resolution. Knowing CDPR it will be very HD.

PS4 version.

Wanted digital so no matter what I could remote play it without making sure the disc was in.

Soo far any graphical features the PS4/XONE versions are missing versus PC version? Like some physics (grass reaction to wind or something), or is just LOD distance, AF and such?

Textures, object quality and LODs are the same on PC and consoles.

I'm sure PC gamers will be able to crank up AF and framerate/AA [+hairworks if they have a beast of the GPU], but for the most part, all versions look very similar.

What about Rocksteady?

Or are you guys talking about graphics only?
Yes, you think Batman on the PS4 looks better?
Don't forget we don't have a Gamersyde PS4 footage of TW3 to compare(unlike Batman), so go watch the PS4 version of Batman on Youtube and tell me what you think.

Nah I do think Witcher 3 looks better. Batman has the advantage of being mostly darkly lit, though.

I'd say the character models in Batman look better for the most part, I think, but overall Witcher 3 looks better.

Nvidia tech - NVIDIA GameWorks, HairWorks, HBAO+, Destruction, and PhysX Clothing

There's no destruction on console versions? Like, at all? Honestly I haven't seen much interaction with anything in the environment, not like one of the first trailers where he uses a sign and everything explodes and gets pushed back.

Sigh. Not so fast.

Believing there is no destruction because consoles don't use a Nvidia library is like believing they won't have hair physics because they don't have Nvidia Harkworks. Wrong in both cases.

Nearly 15 minutes of new footage. Quote to see.

The camera is...REALLY stupid in this game.

Why is it hovering above Geralt's head in such an awkward angle like that ?

Even inside the house,it just looks awkward.

Why didn't they just do over the shoulder like most games do ?

Except Rockstar can't make quests or story lines that are nearly as good as CDPR's.

They make shallow amusement parks which is why they sell so much.
Rockstar makes shallow amusement parks lamo, that is tag worthy.

They really don't though.

On topic the new footage is good but why is it that every time a game leaks it seems like they are amateurs and don't know how to play a game?

That is the "witcher sense" camera.

Hell no. The close camera in TW2 was awful. I am so happy that they pulled it back.

I suppose its one thing to get used to ,but it just doesn't look natural to me

framerate looks really south of what solid is supposed to be... maybe its the stream, but its not the first time we see early streams and other games do appear smooth as butter while streaming like The Order for example. Witcher 3 looks choppy quite often. Its an amazing looking game, but honestly i would prefer to be given the choice to revert to 900p with solid 30 fps gameplay. IQ is great and all but i can't stand the damn juddering caused when frames are dropped.

Just my opinion.
