The Witcher 3 PS4 gameplay

Sounds like early morning on Tuesday.

Yeah. CDPR estimates 40-50 for Main content. 100hours if you max out on Side Quests. 200 if you are one of the out of your mind completionist types that'll collect every gwent card, find every treasure/place of power, and craft every item.

I usually don't give a shit about any of the side games in RPGs, but if gwent plays even remotely close to a MTG lite, I'll probably collect the hell out of the cards.

Not only that The Witcher 3 is fucking huge, it also seems like to have really interesting quests, which all recent open world RPGs failed to deliver.

This game is going to be fucking alley.

Name a single open world RPG that had more than 2-4 interesting side quests. Like ever. The problem with the more recent games isn't that there aren't interesting "side quests", it's that most aren't even quests at all. They are just delivery driver chores. Because apparently that's the new trend. First it was adding FPS elements to every game that didn't need them, or RPG elements to games that didn't need them, and now it's adding GTA/MMO shit to everything that doesn't need or want them. Much easier to do than making real content, but it extends playing times!

Yeah, it's a shame. I like how Miyazaki handles quest in his games. There are not that money, but they're so good.

Edit: Typo, many, not money.

A quest should be a quest. Something substantial and with meaning.

The optional content in Bloodborne is a great example of how side content should be.

Exactly, Upper Cathedral Ward, Cainhurst Castle are examples of how side/optional content should be done. When will developers learn about quality over quantity. Seems like CDPR has the right idea though.

Can you pre-download this on PS4 yet? Thinking of getting it from there, but don't want to have to download it a few hours from release.

Both of whom have very little in common with the "real" Triss and her giggly persona masking a whole lot of trauma and insecurities which would make her "never again wear a low-cut dress".

Yeah, so about that...

Yeah but I dunno call me a heaven I don't care if its true to the books. W2s Triss is the real Triss to me since W1s Triss was a real bitch, making me
yell at Alvin and shit making him turn into a crazy person that goes into the past to become an adult crazy person or something

Does anybody know if the Ps4 Hard Copies of The Witcher will come with The Witcher 3 Ps4 Theme?

I love my Farcry 4 Blade Theme, but would love this more.
And, all the other Themes are meh for what's available for Au atm.

Optional stuff in Bloodborne is as good as the main quest. Hope Witcher will deliver! :)

With the story branches and the different endings...is it safe to say there are a lot of missables on a single playthrough?

Pacific as in PDT? If so then it's 4PM CEST, wait is real.

is the battle system still like the witcher 1/2? press attack at the correct timing to continue the combo? didn't play the 1st 2 games that much

Timed clicking was only a thing in Witcher 1. Witcher 2 was basically your ARPG combat with some clunkiness/awkwardness. People give a lot shit to Witcher 2 about its combat, but I think it's decent when you stop face tanking shit and start to move around during combat.

Map that is packaged with the game

and back

That signature made my day :)
Looks like a lovely fairy tale. I hate physical copies now, but i love the map. Then again, I'd rather just get a print of a real place's map drawn whimsically and historical like that. Really nice style.

All DLC should be same for everyone no matter of region. UAE will get some censoring if DLC has nudity and/or a lot of gore.

No, what I mean is, I live in Taiwan, but I'm from Canada. I have a Canadian PSN account but I buy my games (physical copies) here in Taipei.

Sometimes game companies/publishers lock region content so that DLC that is purchased is only compatible with a game disc from the same region. Some of them do this, some of them don't. It's never made clear.

You should be able to download in every store with the physical game. If had bought the game digitally, you also need to buy the DLC on the account you bought the main game.

PS4 version confirmed to be better than PC?

/s

Well, at least with consoles devs don't have to worry about the setup the reviewer has (ie : shitty PC or one crippled with crapwares impacting game perf and stabily). So it makes sense, they have more control on the reviewers experience. Internal demos are done on PC as they are responsible of the setup.

That is certainly very weird. Kudos to CDP for not pretending PS4 version doesnt exist, but this is actually making the XBOX version seem non existent.

The Microsoft marketing deal for this game is extremely strange to me. I think that behind the scenes something has gone wrong with their relationship. I've been following CDPR on social media and to me it seems they've been promoting or speaking glowingly of the PS4. It could just be that 1 PS4 sold every 2 seconds but I suspect it is something else.

Isn't the reason that all PC version are going to be unlocked the same tim which is 19 May?

According redditor who has allegedly friend working in GAME store, in UK, stores get special activation codes. Using this special code they can install and activate one PC copy to be used for demo purposes within that said store. If that is legit information then it wouldn't be reach that reviewers could get such code too.

One gets the impressions from the body language and other non-verbal cues in Kevin's "There is much to tell" tweet that KVO thinks the game is a disaster. I just don't know how anyone could read that tweet and leave expecting anything less than a trainwreck of an Orderian magnitude.

I laughed.

Yes and it was so bad that he still dropped 100 hours in one week into the game.

What kind of hyperbole...wow.
