Two tickets to the Gun Show, please.
Didn't work against Durden, since he would throw a lot of hits in concession, more than my stamina could take, so I had to dodge too. May be still basics, but shows that I didn't had them really understood until then. If it's help my case, I was ten levels below him, when I fight him (do stats even change when you level up?).
Yeah I've put some good hours into Gwent myself, best mini game in a game ever.
CDPR should make a stand-alone Gwent game to play against other players online, take it as it is now from the game. I'd fucking love that.
Yeah, hand to hand is straight up just parry -> hit. As long as you don't get too greedy you can fist fight people way above your level without getting touched.
They really need to add an option to turn the hud off. Having to disable all those options is very tedious when you want to take a nice screenshot
No there isnt. I eventually ended up selling ALL of my old books and notes to a single vendor (the same guy that buys trophies off you at full value), at least if I need any of them back I know where he is...
She said "I'd like it if you stopped by" in my conversation, not so much "come help me with stuff". Geralt responded with "that'd be nice", pretty much.RE: Where the fuck is Triss in Novigrad? questions. Not going to spoiler, I'll just say the game presents it as a bit confusingly. She implies she'd like to speak to you which gives the impression she has quests available, but it's a bit misleading as nothing shows up in the quest log. Her related quests will actually be triggered via other means, visiting her wont trigger any additional quests I don't think. You can visit her to show her things/talk about stuff though. But yeah, the whole "Geralt I need to talk to you about something" isn't accurate, at least wasn't in my game. I'd visit her and she wouldn't open up any quest lines, not until I triggered other stuff and the quests opened up officially.
I saw the exact same thing and my conclusion was thatneed some help here, found an icon on the minimap in velen that isnt on the list of things when you open the map, spoiler-tagging just in case.
was headed to do the myster of byways murders when i ran into a griffin. I killed him and looted him, next to his dead body was an icon of what..looks like a sharingan from naruto, rofl, its like 3 swirls put together. When I go into witcher mode i see the icon for igni under the ground but i can't find a way to get to it, anyone run into this?
Yup.
Hold on what? I thought you could only loot items from enemies/chests (ie one way), I did not realise there was a way to bring up the UI to add items into chests (ie 2 way)... how the hell do you do this?
EDIT - I think this rumour has gone through the chinese whisper mill I think originally the tip was "you can leave your items in any house", not specifically in a chest. I think it means you can drop your items on the floor in a house, and they wont dissappear... I do not trust this though! I feel safer selling mine to a single vendor TBH.
I saw the exact same thing and my conclusion was thatMinor early quest spoiler.it's the portals you use in the "Wandering in the Dark" or whatever quest, the one with Keira. The swirls are below you, underground.
Ahhhh who is it? I've 6 trophys and don't want to sell them for cheap. D:
On the outskirts of novigrad in the upper right, there's a secluded building by the river(I think it's a graveyard or something) with a guy inside who buys everything for full value. I'm not sure if it's intentional though, lol.
Does anyone know if iorveth or saskia are in the game?
Incredible tip - does he buy everything at full value, not just trophies?!
Yup, even giving him books I've gotten around 60 for some of them. He has 500 gold so he can get sucked dry pretty fast though. I'd need to double check if he can buy crossbow bolts since I have a hell of a time getting rid of those, but normal weapons also work fine.
It's so cool reading about other things that happened to people in Novigrad. Especially this torture scene I've read about, didn't even come close to seeing anything like that so I must've made the right decision at some point.

Yeah I just dropped all my crossbow bolts.
I forget, can we meditate a certain amount of time to reset NPC budgets? Preferably without conseqeuence.
Interesting Thank you, time to crush Skelliges fight clubs. If you actually block the blows it would start hitting your stamina, but just tapping the block as a swing comes will deflect the attack and leave them open. Doesn't matter what kind of strike they use, they always are left open.
or roche?
I ran into letho on a completely unrelated side-quest though, that was really cool
god damn this game is addicting. it's a natural evolution from the first two games. nothing was lost in their transition to a more open world.
Which guy do you mean? Where is he? Never found any vendor who gives me the full value.

He is located.just east of Novigrad city walls, inside the graveyard building. Also, he only seems to buy your items at certain times of the day...
Crazy. How quickly does his money regenerate?
Is growing a badass beard a consequence you want to avoid?
Regarding a serious answer to your question: I don't have one.
guys, were do you find the quests to get the Urisne armour and the enhanced ursine armour?
Struggling to find them!
Crazy. How quickly does his money regenerate? And does it do so at the same rate for all merchant NPCs?
That stuff has been a little wonky for me, so not totally sure. Sometimes it wouldn't let me even talk to him and I had to meditate in front of him for an hour and he would be restocked, other times he still had no gold. But that's happened to me with other NPCs anyway.
Does anyone know if iorveth or saskia are in the game?
End-ish game spoilers.
Ciri says she went to a world where people had metal in their heads, fought at long range with guns and had flying cars. Wonder if this is an easter egg for cyberpunk 2077.
isn't it in skellige islands?
The merchant you saved in the beginning is selling the armor. Be sure to bring some money, the DLC is free, the armor is most certainly not.So where do I find the free DLC armor? I assume the DLC haircuts are added to every barber in the game?
I did thequest last night. The story was well told and I was very interested in seeing the conclusion.Tower of RatsUnfortunately this ghost whore turned out to be a Pesta and fucked up the island? I saw a dialogue option where I could choose not to believe her. Did anyone get a different ending or does she always end up killing the guy in his house?
