The Witness (from Braid developer) confirmed for PS4

Really looking forward to this. Honestly I might want to play this more than anything else shown at the Sony conference(considering how little we actually know about Deep Down).

It's all those. However, basically it's all about finding out which line to draw by gathering clues from your surroundings. The line panels are mere interfaces.
Patrick Klepek said it's not, and he played three hours of it, although that was a while ago.

This is definitely the game I'm looking forward to the most from the PS4 conference. Braid was a neat game with interesting mechanics. This looks like Myst (which I also love) plus the art style from the Windwaker remake.

John Blow makes good games but he also knows he makes good games which can make him a bit insufferable sometimes. Still, I'll definitely be picking this up.

The game's official blog says it is though (505 puzzles at last count while we're at it). but the thing is, as it can even been seen in the video, in some cases they're drive other elements and thus act as door handles or switches. Which Klepek preview are we talking about? That one? because, well, that quote seems pretty clear:

In The Witness, the puzzles are front, center and clearly puzzles. They're all on clearly labeled monitors.

I didn't see too much bloom in there, rather Wind Waker's original art style (which I still like very much).

I'm not hyped until we see more concrete footage, but a John Blow game is worth looking forward to.

This video is a bit higher quality than the OP so you can see a little better. At the 35 second mark in the forest that's growing out of the water it looks a bit bloomy. That's the part that reminded me of the WW remake, though of course the WW remake screens have a ton more bloom.

Sorry for necrobump but for those interested Jonathan blow just tweeted this

Yeah he's talked a fair amount on his Twitch stream about when they'll do marketing, how much the game needs to make for them to be able to keep making games etc.

I hadn't seen the post from a month ago about the team being in bug-fixing mode: http://the-witness.net/news/2015/08/bugs/

This one sounds scary if they're not sure they figured it out:
-And finally, the bug that haunted us for at least a year, the giant colorful grass bug. It would happen almost always when replanting grass, and would not disappear until you restarted the game. Insanely large, colorful versions of the grass would appear and wave in the wind, blocking you from doing anything. Still not sure if we ever figured this one out:

I think Oculus and Valve VR support was confirmed a long time ago. I'm hoping for Morpheus, but not holding my breath,

That's good to hear. Yeah, hopefully that does include morpheus, considering the art of the game.

Does anyone know what engine he's using?
