So like, we getting a movie? Is Fox gonna announce season 11 tomorrow? Or we just going to speculate until the end of time?

Yes Yes Yes! That episode was all types of awesome, from beginning to end. Made up for the lackluster episodes that preceded it.

Chris knows he's getting another season with that ending. I want them to bring back Jeremiah Smith. I hope this is Jeremiah Smith or William in that damn ship. The actor is only 77 years old who plays Smith. A decent finale for a short season.

Why wouldn't there be? Mulder is with the times, there's "findmyphone" and other apps. I don't see why a program would be far-fetched for Mulder to use in case Scully looked.

In any case this episode was great. I like how they modified the 2012 timeline and made it a bioterror attack. I don't get why the aliens would appear right at the end and how they're going to tie this into the modern times of "oh well you didn't get sick because..." plausible deniability but it was a tense episode IMO.

Outside of that one Monster of the Week episode that was the artists plot, I actually really enjoyed this season. Classic/old-school fan/haters be damned. It was the X-files as far as I'm concerned and I hope we get a continuation from the Miller/Scully/Mulder abduction point.

Compared to other season finales that was huge and game changing. The masses directly affected PLUS a space craft shows up in plain view of the same masses.

Premiere was the only one I really didn't like.

Good finale. So much didn't make any sense, but I want more. There better be more.

Mulder is really sick, maybe too sick for an IV cure. Scully says she needs stimcells from their child/William. A UFO shows up over the bridge Miller/Mulder/Scully and a lot of people are on in Washington DC. Miller and Scully look up at the bright light they're in... zoom in on Scully's eye.

Season End.

I really like how they've been using the fact that Mulder has Alien DNA this entire season. Short time watchers would only see it as episode-specific stuff. This entire season has been better than the previous seasons about plot consistency, mainly due to the six episode limit.

This confused the hell out of me this ep. Why is he getting sick WAY quicker than anyone else?

Unless the whole aluminum/microwave-activated CRISPR-9 thing is nonsense?

horrendous pacing, rushed, bad exposition

this should've been a two hour episode.

Bring on a full season 11 though pls with Morgan and Wong showrunning, Gillian penned episode

Why even bother with this whole 6 episode mini season if they were just going to end it that way. The whole episode just felt off to me. Every previous episode felt right in line with the original series but not this finale imo.

That ending too, wtf were they thinking. Atleast have a reveal at the end for a TV-movie or a season 11 if they are going to end it that way. Otherwise they should have made this a 2 hour episode and just ended it there. If that is the last time we see Mulder and Scully together on screen then they seriously missed a great opportunity.

I know this is a bit off topic but Netflix does have every season in hd now correct ? I remember last year I think it was first three seasons

Well, it was a clusterfuck of a finale but I liked it, except for the character assassination of Monica Reyes.

And we still don't know why the Syndicate spoke about colonization to each other, even behind closed doors.
