Well the second half of skaters are the best ones, which is why this time is shocking. I'm sure some will come close at the very least.
I notice that for each skating (speed/figure) event, they run the zambonis halfway through......doesn't this create a bit of an imbalance? I mean, if you're in the last pairing pre-zamboni vs first pairing post zamboni, you're at a disadvantage, especially in speed events.
Our biathletes are really bomming hard

A bobsleigh smashed into a course worker at the Olympic Games' Sanki sliding centre on Thursday leaving the man reportedly with both legs broken, an AFP reporter who witnessed the incident said.
The incident occurred at the start of training for the two-man bobsleigh competition when the forerunner bob, which is used to clear and test the track at the beginning of the day's schedule, hit an ice maker.
Video footage shown on the media mixed zone's monitors just minutes after the incident showed paramedics and volunteers trying to evacuate the man who was lying on track.
International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation officials refused to comment on the accident which delayed the start of the training session.
"refused to comment"

How many Dutch mothers die a year during childbirth? Gotta be hard on the body when the baby comes out in skates.
Plushenko withdraws.
That's gotta really hurt for him.
I don't understand how judging works in figure skating. That was the worst fall I've seen in these Olympics so far yet it's still good enough for a 72?
