Canada may have defeated us today, but we showed the best teamwork!

No falls on last three training jumps on large hill. Snow turned into mush and workers are on it 24/7 to keep it as good as they can in 13° Celsius.

Men super combination downhill will begin one hour earlier

Patrick Chan has a 7 point buffer over third. He may not catch first, but as long as he doesn't fall he's probably guaranteed a medal tomorrow..

That means he's going to fall tomorrow. Chan always finds a way to screw it up.

A new sport tomorrow: Aerials. We may see a Chinese sweep, for a change.

You mean new for these particular Games, or has Aerials been out of the games without me noticing, or am I just imagining Aerials ever being part of the Games?

Boss sport, boss photos (Martin Fourcade)

Biathlon really is the greatest winter sport imo. Beautiful and exciting. Much more layered than cross-country skiing. If people haven't already done so, I strongly recommend you check out these events. Especially the mass-start and the relays. That said, I'm a little disappointed by the Norwegian biathletes so far. I can live without the medals, but not impressed by the effort from anyone but Bjørndalen and Berger so far. I seriously hope Svendsen and the ski... waxers?
Hva faen kalles de på Engelsk?
step up their game. Bjørndalens gold was fucking fantastic and all, but Svendsen is who I expect to be right up there, neck and neck with Fourcade. T. Bø also to some extent, but he's never really recovered his full form after his illness or injury.

So what's this crap, we got silver and bronze today? How can we celebrate not winning gold? We need to up our game!

At least the weekend is coming, I can finally see some stuff live again :)

I'm pessimistic about Chan as well. I've been pessimistic about Chan forever. My pessimism is usually good luck because I end up being wrong most times. Let's hope!

Plushenko withdrawing and crowd falling to silence, then applauding is something to watch. And reading that he's retired. Devastating.

God damnit, Jeremy Abbott. Phenomenal skater, but boy can he choke hard. Beautiful, aggressive round afterwards, though. Hopefully just a bruise so he can do his freeskate.

Just saw Kevin Reynolds short program which I missed earlier. Fuckin' badass routine, such a shame he couldn't land those jumps.

edit: Brian Orser was completely flipping out during (and after) Hanyu's performance, haha
