That fall reminded me of the SNL figure skating skit where the guy just kept falling over and over. Any of you guys remember what I'm talking about? Heck, anyone got a link to it?

No shortage of curling on Canadian TV. 3 games a day for the big tournaments.

US needs to get one of those sports channels to televise the US Nationals and the Worlds. America deserves more curling.

am i the only one who hates sports that are based on judges?

No mention of #NBCfail and NBC tape delayed for US audience only?

Where are my games? My opening ceremony?

Oh yeah kept ransom for over half a day because they have to "reality TV" it up for the frau/housewives to consume and then claim they are real sports fans

Quick question: is the commerntary for the US recorded live or afterwards?

The uninteresting stuff and prelims are always live

The popular sports and their medal finals are always saved for primetime (For US only, no other country does this) for dat ad revenue.

Capitalism at it's finest and ruining our enjoyment

We've learned from past games to find alternatives to NBC. These games makes is difficult because of the time differences.

As an American, what channels do I get that show the Olympics.. and are there any live events or just shit that happened earlier that day

The last winter games took place in Pacific Time zone. They still delayed it 8 hours later.

How is that a time difference excuse?
Oh I just mean it sucks to wake up at 4 am to see events live. NBC can go straight to hell for the way they handle the Olympics. They always suck.

Really looking forward to the skating, skiing, curling and bobsled events. I also love watching the march of countries in the opening ceremonies. It's a simple gesture, but it must mean a lot to every country to be able to show with pride their athletes who have worked hard and earned a place to compete with their peers.

The bobsled is going to be difficult considering everything in Sochi is straight.

Ski jumping on small hill will be a wind lottery, point difference is minimal, so any wind compensation could determine a winner.

Cross country tracks are very demanding, lots of ascends and steep descents with corners
