She is a peice of shit that No one voted for.
I'm still amazed there has been no riots to Get her out and force a new election

No one votes for a PM, they vote for their own local MP - and that party votes for it's leader, who, if that Party is in Government becomes PM. Same thing happened with Gordon Brown.

But don't worry, right now if there was an election, the Conservatives would have a huge majority and Labour would be decimated. Be careful what you wish for.

There isn't a chance on Earth England would be a red state. Look at the results of all the polling pre election of Hillary versus Trump. We're a centre right country on the whole, and the utter insanity and crazyness of the Republican Party is a huge turnoff. Also don't forget the religious angle - English voters do NOT like visible religion in politics.

Thinking changes when you are voting for politicians of another country vs your own. Our right wing press is easily way more crazy than the republican party.

Unfortunately May is polling well with the public and her stance on the EU is giving the Tories a free pass in everything else. The Tories will continue to do a lot of damage to the NHS in order to privatise profits.

Also, the majority of our media is highly critical of the NHS, like they were with the EU. I wouldn't be surprised if a narrative begins that we need to get rid of the NHS. It will take awhile to sell the public, and it'll be a harder to sell than simply hating the EU (mostly because NHS is British at its core and many people rely on it), but I'm expecting it. Too much money to made, and a great way to control people.

Our right wing press is evil and vicious in any
Unique and horrible way, but it doesn't come close to the platform of the Republican Party. Their stances on abortion, gay rights and other issues is so extreme (and so unique to America) that it's absolutely toxic. Remember that in 2005 Michael Howard attempted to bring abortion back into the public discourse as a political point and ended up running a mile from it as it proved to be so wildly unpopular with the public.

The Republican Party really is freaking crazy compared to any other western democracy out there. The fringes of the Tory party are the moderates of the republicans.

(seriously compare the last Tory manifesto to the Republican Party platform in this election - insanity!)

If it was presented as being a state right to vote for abortion locally then how many centre right voters in the UK do you think would vote for a Democratic president on this issue? Cameron did a decent enough job of hiding the "nasty" Tory MP skeletons in the backbench closet but then Brexit happened and they won. Remember?
