Any gaffers live around here? I'll going there for a week soon and need some ideas to keep myself busy. So far I have a pair of tickets to the Mariners game on the 8th against the Rangers. How far is Redmond from Seattle? Does Nintendo or Microsoft give tours? Are the golf courses open there yet? Oh how I would love a game of golf right now...

I live in Queen Anne, the district of Seattle that has the Space Needle.

How far is Redmond from Seattle? Does Nintendo or Microsoft give tours?

Redmond is 20 minutes outside of Seattle, just hop on either the 520 or I-90 floating bridges and follow the signs to Redmond. MS and Nintendo do not give tours of their facilities, but you might want to try and sign up for a playtest session with Microsoft, you'll get a free game for your time testing out a future title.

Are the golf courses open there yet? Oh how I would love a game of golf right now...

I don't golf, so I don't know for sure, but I saw some guys out on the green in Ballard while I was driving the other day...
