I think getting a white cop a murder conviction for killing a black person is about as impossible as dividing by zero.

All they have to say is "I felt threatened", " I thought he reached for a gun" and thats it for the murder charge and most of the time that's even enough to justify the shooting.

I thought the "I felt threatened" and "he reached for a gun" bullshit only worked when the cop is on duty.

That an off-duty cop is still afforded the right by the legal system, to shoot and kill an innocent unarmed person merely on the basis of such a dubious claim is downright fucking terrifying.

I'm glad I don't live in America and I never will at this rate (hint: I'm black).
