No, the goal is to drive into the grass and hold down the break and gas buttons at the same time. Yes, it is very simple.


And yeah, that poor little child makes me cry as well.

You're fucking me. It's been a while since i've played GT3, which i believe this is a vid from, but that's a hell of a lot of steer correction. If true, i'll bow down.
 
Even if you think he's not playing, look at his foot pedal. That's kinda hard to fake since the timing on the gas is perfect with the sound effects

GT4 plays NOTHING like GT3. Apples and oranges, friend.
 
Totally bogus. I have that wheel and there are 4 green LED lights on the wheel that light up when the USB is connected. He may have disabled rumble but there is feedback from making quick turns like the kid does. This rumble has a motor and you can have the scratchy sound turning the wheel with no power. The wheel is clearly not plugged in.

There is a reason all the cables are a mess. I smell an adult loser behind the camera playing on a connected controller. I think the one right beside the kid is unplugged.

What the kid couldn't tape himself with a digicam and then upload it to some gaming site.

Junior, you are full of shit. There are no LEDs on the GT Force and that is how the wheel sounds when in use there is no rumbling from simple adjustments on tarmac. There are no other controlers plugged in that you cant see on the screen then again you dont see the wires entirely. But the sound of the engine cutting out goes right along with the motions of his right foot.
 
Look closely and this little 3 years old can't reach the break pedal. Now tell me how he's supposed to reach the gaz pedal.

WTF? You can clearly see him depressing the gas pedal and his other foot is resting just above the brake.
 
My mistake, i saw he's pressing the pedal.
But i stay with the age argument. I'm not believing this video. Look at the kid, concentrate on him. The face he does, the way he moves. This kid is top 3 years old and have a mere idea of what he is doing sorry. The video is great quality but i can't believe it's not fake.
 
The steering seems to sync perfectly with what's going on screen. If it is a fake, it's a damn realistic one...
 
If you can believe that they taught the kid to sync his motions PERFECTLY with the on screen action, I don't see why it takes a leap of faith to believe that they taught him just to play that segment perfectly.
 
I dont think you can teach that. Looks like natural skill to me, he also golds in another video. Where did it go:?

If the father tells me he's 5 or 6 years old i'm ok, it's POSSIBLE. But the little one looks way younger (i would say 2 and a half or 3 years old) and it would be a prodigy for a young one like this to achieve that.
Maybe there's a way to create this fake video, have you really investigate the possible ways? Let's scratch our heads a little and i'm pretty sure we can find the trick. 3 years old is NOT doing this.

It is possible, little kid's brains are the most magnificent things in the world. The possibilities to sculp them are endless. Whether it's different languages or remembering the road to McD 20 miles away or playing a game.

I made Technic Lego suitable for people over 16 when I was 4, My little brother finished Wave Race Blue Storm all by himself when he was 4. And we're not geniuses (just really smart :p)

And I'm sure this little guy aced that licence test. He looks young, yes, but that shouldn't be a factor. I still remember that video of a little 3 year old playing the guitar better than most people ever will.
 
Heh, didn't you guys play games when you were little? I had above average gaming skills when I was little and impressed people cause I was only like 4 years old. Although certainly not as good as that kid above...but who knows, gaming required different skills in the 8bit era than the PS2 era
 
My bad. I was thinking of the Driving Force because it has the same holographic "FORCE FEEDBACK" sticker as the GT Force and this video is really low quality.

I guess if you want your kid to drive you to work badly, you just need him to practice.
 
When I was about 6 or 7, I was beating grown men in Street Fighter 2. My dad would bet money on me I was so good.

So yes, kids can be great at games.

When I first saw this it looked like he was switching from 2nd to thrid with a face button. Watching it again, it doesnt seem like he is doing the same thing when switching to 4th gear, infact when he switches to 4th gear at the end there is a clicking noice that sounds exactly like the knob on the Driving Force Pro. I am starting to lean toward the fake side.
 
Can you even change gears with a face button when using the GT Force in GT4P? On my GT force it's [top left] = handbrake, [bottom left] = pause, [top right] = rear view, [bottom right] = reverse. Changing gears is done with the buttons on the back (which he can't reach).
 
I would say he's about 2.5 years old. I've got three boys here ages 6, 4 and 3 and let me tell you, it doesn't take long for them to become very adept at video games. It just depends how much you let them play them (that kid apparently played a LOT of GT) and whether they stick with one game long enough to get REALLY good at it like that.

I'd bet cold hard cash that my oldest could school a large percentage of the readers of this board in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

pffft whatever......i went to this one tournament awhile ago and someone at the tournament brought thier gamecube and a copy of SSBM and a bunch of lil kids were there playing it.....really little shits...and i got on with samus and schooled them ALL!!! And rubbed it in thier Face!!! sent them home crying to thier mommys.

true story.
 
That kid can play the game better than you guys, and that's the reason why alot of you say it's fake.

Hey I was really good at games at 3-4. I have some videotape of me playing on a Intellevision kicking all kinds of astroid ass in Astrosmash :lol Sure things are more complicated now, but I can see a kid being that good, sure.
 
can someone explain to me whats so difficult about those videos? I was about that age when I started beating stuff (mario 1, kung-fu, gyromite, and the like)

Those segment were really short and looked like anyone that doesn't suck should be able to do well after like 2-3 tries...

whys it so hard that the kid could do that?
 
I don't know, even the simplest GT license tests (like going in a straight line) still take me like 30 tries before I get a gold medal :lol

I can bet you that you can't do that in 2-3 tries...it may look easy initially but doing proper turning, acceleration, braking, understeer correction...etc...it looks harder than it is

I see people all the time playing GT4 with the wheel at Best Buy and people can't even stay on the track through a simple turn, let alone drive in a straight line
 
I'm no GT player so I understand my ignornace in its depth but still...

doing that hardly looks more complicated than beating say... the old ninja gaidens or something.

Exactly what kind of level of difficulty are we talking here?

comparable to like, the missions in F-zero or something?
