Not on the Go. The Go only supports M2 cards, it doesn't work with regular Pro Duo cards.

1. Capcom Japan (together with Dimps, in SF4's case).Epcott said:Three questions...
- Did Capcom USA or Capcom Japan develop SF4 and MvC3?
- Where did the term "Scamco" originate from?
- In Demon Souls, what is the purpose of the ghostly figures (other players) who run past you in the dungeons? Can you interact with them besides reading their messages, or are they strictly for show?
As far as I know it still hasn't been announced for the West. Seeing how almost all Level-5 and Studio Ghibli releases are localized it seems quite likely we'll get it, eventually. On the other hand, I doubt they'll translate the book.StuBurns said:Is Ni no Kuni confirmed for the West? Either versions? I wasn't sure it was but I was listening to an older episode of 1up's ATB earlier and they said it was in the news section buy gave no reference or real details about it.
Yeah, I didn't think so, I did some googling and couldn't find anything either. I think you're right, it probably will come at some point.archnemesis said:As far as I know it still hasn't been announced for the West. 2. They are notorious for locking away content on the disc you buy and then selling it to you as "DLC". For instance, Ace Combat 6 had more than 70 add-ons for a total of almost $160.
3. The White Phantoms can't interact with your world, but there are also Blue and Black Phantoms. When you're in body form, you can summon other players to help you out as Blue Phantoms (blue messages). Other players can also invade your world as Black Phantoms. Watch your back!

Also, are the same batteries used in a sixaxis and a dualshock 3?
Battle Mode When selecting Versus Mode, select the mode while holding
Triangle, X, and R2 (you can also opt to press them all immediately after you
select versus mode. NOTE: US Version users do not need to press X as the
programming of the code somehow eliminated this step.) You may need to hold the
buttons at the 'Press Start' screen, then make your choice. You'll go directly
to a fight without choosing a character. The fights will be totally random.
HOWEVER, there is a system direction menu which makes this mode shine. Within
the menu, you can pick any opponent, in any color, and completely control the
fights. You can have Ryu vs 20 Sodoms, etc. It's a very interesting mode if
you ever needed practice against a specific character or ever wanted to
completely just mess with stuff.

No, there are no good Saturn emulators.robotzombie said:Is there a really good saturn emulator out there at all?
Take a look at this thread and scroll down to the RPG section. Your best bet is probably the Golden Sun games. Keep in mind that both Rivera and Yggdra Union have enhanced PSP ports. Some people on GAF enjoyed Rebelstar Tactical Command, but I personally thought it was mediocre at best. If the Fire Emblem games weren't ridiculously expensive, I'd buy those myself.Ratrat said:Could someone recommend a good GBA rpg? Also, whats the best looking game on the system?
Thanks, Golden Sun and Rivera looks really neat.archnemesis said:Take a look at this thread and scroll down to the RPG section. Your best bet is probably the Golden Sun games. When you buy most stuff on xbox live you get two licenses, one is the console you bought it on (so all profiles on that console can access the data) and your gamertag (so if your 360 breaks you still have permission to play content elsewhere)Magnus said:Ok -- Xbox Live/DLC/Content access question:
My roommate and I each have our own gamertags. I have 1200 points on my gamertag. If I download the new First Strike DLC, will he able to access and use all the DLC fully and completely under his own gamertag?
MS says that all users on the console will be able to access it. But they're nazis, and I don't trust them.

Now this works on live titles fine but for DLC I have no idea, especially when it comes to stuff like halo and cod DLC, always possible the rules change there just because microsoft can be anal about it, like locked region DLC or something.
You can try it but if all fails at least your friends has the maps.
The History of Nintendo. Vol.1 is the most detailed book I've read about Nintendo's early years. If you want more in-depth than that you probably have to go to Japan and do the research yourself. There are no photos of Fusajiro Yamauchi in it.Epcott said:Are there any good sites/books with an indepth biography of Fusajiro Yamauchi
(Nintendo Koppai's founder)? Maybe even an elusive photo?
I searched google, but nothing really goes into detail about what he did prior to making hanafuda cards, besides being a cartoonist. Nor do they talk about his life in general.
A thought crossed my mind of writing a story based on him (no relation to "Nintendo History System").

If it works anything like movie rentals, they probably both pay more for their copies and give a percentage to the publisher.Arcane Hayter said:I've sent emails to three different gaming magazines to try to get a question answered. So far not one has given me any response at all. So I'm asking GAF...
How does GameFly work for the game companies? Do they get paid every time their game gets rented? Does GameFly pay an increased rate for their copies? Surely they can't just go downtown and buy a boatload of copies, rent them indefinitely, and then sell them after they've made months worth of revenue without kicking something back to the developers of publishers.
The reason I ask this is because I use GameFly, but I really don't want to hurt the industry that I love.
Schmattakopf said:If it works anything like movie rentals, they probably both pay more for their copies and give a percentage to the publisher.
Even if that's true, not much gets back to developers, let's be honest. Publishers hurt the industry.

"press start to continue"
what the fuck is the point of this? why is there another compleatly unnecesary buton press required betwen starting the game and getting to the main menu?
I know old nes games had this (don't remember it from my older PC games), but usualy that was beacose there was no main menu to speak off so the thing made sense, but why do I have to endure this in 2011 when every game has a main menu?
Speaking of that: Am I the only one that's annoyed by the fact that most of the times you can press "X" at a "press start to continue"? It says press START! Not X nor square. START!!Enosh said:something I wanted to ask for quite a while
