Get your disgusting whore GF to pop and taste the innards of the "pimples." If it's sweet it's herpes, if it's bitter it's a regular pimple.

so..... I've got three-four small sized pimple looking bumps on the tip of my penis. One is kinda of sensitive as its RIGHT at the tip near the hole. I've gotten acne there before, while not being sexually active yet, now I'm kind of scared it might be teh herpz. I've been having a lot of sex and shes on the pill, so we've been having unprotected sex. I just noticed it today, has anyone else ever had acne on the tip of the penis that they knew wasn't the herpes virus? I'm going to get tested tomorrow.

Shes got teh herpies bro.

As for privacy on the Internet, it's way too easy to search for things and get results.

When getting replies on craigslist (like for buying/selling things), I frequently check if the person's legit by searching on Google for their email address. Even if it's an email address that person mostly uses for spam purposes, they likely could have posted that email address attached to a username on some web site... so you could just search for that username and find out more and more about them.

On NeoGAF, I haven't ever posted my normal username. For the rare thing like Photoucket, I've created new accounts under the name "WWYDT". Despite being only a few letters long, it's actually so unique that all the results are either me or some Korean sites.

Question:
What is the rocket in the sunset meme?
It's from the plane in a sunset meme.

It was created in a thread about underage strippers (I think it was the first OT thread I ever commented in, actually). The first replier posted a plane flying into sunset, as if he was on his way there.

Can someone please explain to me while Youtube keeps switching the player between these two styles? It's different everytime I go there.

I was wondering what our world would look like if horses and camels never existed. Lets include zebras too.

Lets pretend we had all the same species we do now and there is no other type of animal that evolved like a shmorse or something with 5 legs. Horses and camels just never existed.

Would we be as technologically evolved as we are now? I mean, horses have been used through out all of history for transportation of people and goods, in war, in farming. Hell, going from one town to the other would take only a day with horse, god only knows how long that would have been to walk there, probably days.

Nowadays, horses are pretty much obsolete with the inventions of planes, cars, tractors, etc. but where would we be right now in 2010 without them? Or am I giving them too much credit?

I hate how the new one obscures the bottom of the video any time you move your mouse or pause.

Yeah, it sucks.

New question:

I have about 25 360 games. They take up room, I don't play them anymore. I probably only want to keep 5. Gamestop has their "trade ins get 50% added bonus to value" going on now. I'll probably get something low like $110 for all of them, but eBay wouldn't be much higher and I don't touch them.

I should sell them to Gamestop, yes/no?

Two other options:

1. Amazon buys used games. You can print your shipping label and ship your stuff to them for free. And I'm told that they generally give more money than Gamestop does.

2. Cheapassgamer has a great collection and marketplace system to sell/trade games to other users.

New video's have the new player, old ones the old player? I guess that could make sense, but I really don't know actually.

Thanks guys.

I guess I'll just put them up in the thread and maybe try Amazon. I'm in no rush to get rid of them, but I'd like to, and the current GS deal just seemed like a nice possibility.

And no! New videos can also have the ugly play control bar.

Yeah, the gamestop deal isn't bad...you might already know this, but at Cheapassgamer.com you can check the trade in value of games at Gamestop and Amazon. If you use a calculator to add 50% to the value CAG shows, you can get a general idea of what will be most profitable.
GAF is definitely the best place to make the most real money on them, as long as people buy them but if you're looking to buy new games with that money, GS might be your best bet.

So what do you guys use to clean the screen of an LCD HD telie?

Why can't I "find all posts" by me when I look at my public profile? Also, what happened to Quick Links > My Profile?

Oh dear. LCD/Plasmas are NOT just glass...

Microfibre cloth + distilled water if you have any.

Search was disabled because of bandwidth, quick links menu appears when you click your name on the top right where it says, "Welcome, User."

:lol

Who uses paper towels with Windex anyway.

Or either on an LCD.

Microfiber and water is good. I usually mix just a drop of bleach with the water because it helps to disinfect the screen. I heard that the germs can cause dead pixels and so far I haven't had any.

Just kidding, don't use bleach.

Just pop into any shop selling PC accessories. The same LCD cleaner sets they sell work for LCD TVs.

wtf, how else do you use windex if not paper towels?

What exactly does a music conductor do? They'll wave that wand thing around and move their arms but the musicians are looking at their music note paper things instead of the conductor.

Paper towels leave crumbs/lint/trash.

There are always better things you can use with Windex, depending on what you're cleaning with it. For plain glass even newspaper works better.

I always thought of them as a silent metronome you see with your peripheral vision (never been in an orchestra, but I know the usefulness of a metronome for piano/guitar). Of course they also do these movements for dynamics (gradual changes in volume like a (de)crescendo etc.) and such which I've never really understood since it should be noted on the sheet music. Maybe someone who's been part of an orchestra would know better than me...

But like you I don't understand since most all of these things are on the sheet music.

A conductor ties everything together. He/she will of course be present during rehearsals and will help shape the way that the orchestra/concert band approaches a given piece of music. During a performance, besides just keeping time, they will cue different sections at different times during the performance, remind the players to emphasize a particular section or what have you, and generally act as a guide.

An orchestra could perform with out a director, but the result would likely be sloppy and unpolished sounding.

Don't the musicians know how to play the song already though?

Yes but I imagine a large group of people playing at once might get a little sloppy unless they all can keep perfect time in their brains. Not likely...

The metronome effect of the conductor is what I would guess to be most useful.

Yes of course, that's why I said that they could play without the conductor, but it would probably be sloppy, due to the lack of cues.

The director will also be able to know how things sound up close versus how they sound in the back of the auditorium and will be able to make changes on-the-fly by telling certain sections to back off, or what have you.

Granted, by the time the performance comes things are almost automatic, but the conductor provides "sign posts" for lack of a better word, that sort of keep everyone on track.

What's a metronome?

I just don't see the use of the conductor still, but I'm tone-deaf and can't play any instruments. The waving of the wand just seems totally random. Thanks though!

While the orchestra is playing, the conductor keeps things together by keeping the tempo and indicating dynamics and other things to specific sections, which isn't necessary with a small group, but an orchestra can be a hundred musicians. With that many people, you need someone just to tell you when to start. You also need someone who knows every single part of the piece to guide rehearsals. The violinists know the violin part, but they don't know all the other parts.

^^ Yeah think of that, but visual like the old fashioned pendulums. Since obviously you can't have a ticking going on in that setting. With enough playing with a metronome your natural ability at keeping time can approach mechanical, involuntarily.

It generally is. It is something you learn to watch through your peripheral for the most part. It also gives you a visual for dynamics; you may see it on the sheet, but the conductor has a better vantage to tell if your section really hitting something properly, which can be difficult depending on your arrangement. Been a long time since I played in an orchestra, but I found it useful as a brass (cornet) in particular.

They move the baton down for the first beat of each measure, and in other directions for the rest of the beats, and then down again for the first beat of the next measure. So the conducting pattern for 4/4 time might be down, left, right, up. 1, 2, 3, 4. For each measure.

So on GAF when user1 is quoted by user2 with a picture of user1's avatar, did user1 get it from user2 or did user2 take it from user1's avatar? Sorry if this is too confusing

I right clicked your avatar and got the link, then hit quote, and pasted the url to your avatar.

Your avatar is too big though..

Ok, I just didn't know if user2 had posted some other avatar-sized picture rather than taking it from user1.

What do you mean my avatar is too big? I'm pretty sure its properly sized.

Edit: Nvm, fixing it.

Question: When you are eligible for an upgrade do you still get to keep your old iphone or does AT&T make you give it back for the upgrade? Would be perfect if I could give my 3G to my wife. We are both on t he same plan so could I just add her to the data plan and switch her number to the old 3G?
