Did the fuckers at Discovery change them for the American release. Even if I'm American I've been interested in listening to Attenborough, being unfamiliar with him, for a while, and they screw me over with Ripley? Can I choose Attenborough on the DVD/Blu-ray?
Deists aren't, Pantheists are by some criteria.ChoklitReign said:A third question: if the definition of atheism is "a rejection of theism," does that mean deists and pantheists are also atheists?
if you buy from the discovery store i think you get the weaver one, but if you buy anywhere else you get the bbc one.ChoklitReign said:I'm watching Planet Earth on the Discovery Channel and Sigourney Weaver is narrating. I'm shattered. I don't know what to do. She said she doesn't know if she is capable of caring for me right now with all the shit going on in her life, and I'm afraid i'm going to lose her.
She said I was too controlling over her. Which wasn't the case, it was just with her going through all that, I was worried sick. I was trying to show as much affection as possible, but when she didn't show anything back, I ended up getting myself upset. And pissed her off a few times. She said she cared for me, loved being with me, I was fun. I haven't been fun, only adding stress to her already crazy life. She didn't want anymore drama, and she had enough.
I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose her. What can I say to make this work? I feel so horrible.

how the hell do I set up custom playlists? I can make a "Smart Playlist", but don't want to add shit automatically, and once it's made I seem incapable of adding stuff from within it, or dragging it to the icon. Right-clicking on the songs gives me no options either. I can make a playlist folder, but same problem.

You've never driven a manual at all? If not you really should have someone there who has when you pick up the car so you can at least pull it off the lot and go somewhere where you can practice driving it. If you have no idea how they work I would also look into reading up or watching videos on the subject to so you at least understand the basics.NightBlade88 said:Might get a car with a manual transmission. - Your clutch disengages your gear and allows you to shift
- The car will die if you stop while engaged in any gear (or not enough RPMs for current gear)
- 1st gear is just to get you moving
- Hold down the clutch while you shift, let go, then gas. Keeping the second point in mind you'll probably burn your clutch a bit riding it to get into first gear in the beginning.
- Stopping the car requires you either shift into Neutral or hold your clutch down while breaking
- Up-shifting is cake, down-shifting requires you rev-match by tapping the gas before you drop back into gear
If you're going to be stuck driving the car by yourself the first time and don't know how manuals work hopefully that will help you.

soundahfekz said:Never shift back into 1st unless you've stopped. 2nd gear when turning corners. Cruise in 4th/5th for better city gas mileage. Engine braking/rev matching will save wear and tear on your brakes, but don't worry about this until you're comfortable with the basics.
Also find a residential hill with no traffic to practice on. You're going to need to get used to rolling back a bit. Some people use the parking brake to prevent roll, but once you get use to the friction point of the clutch, rolling will be minimal
