Is there any way to send a message to my neighbor's PC without them installing any software? I've found ways to do it if we both have the same messaging software installed, but I want to be able to do it without them having to install anything on their end. The reason being my cable modem has croaked and Comcast won't come until Wednesday. So being netless of course I turned to the charity of those that don't secure their shit. I'm not out to do anything malicious (other than stealing your bandwidth and slowing down your connection) but I went through the routine 'router check' and discovered they have their shit wide open. I wanted to inform them without having to do it face to face.

E-mail them perhaps? That's all I can think of aside from that Windows Messager thing (not the IM'ing program, something different), but I have no idea how that works.

I don't know their e-mail address.

I've got their local IP and I'm on their router. I think the messenger service has to be enabled for the cmd line stuff associated with it to work. Regardless, I'm using Vista Home Premium and from what I've been researching it doesn't have Vista's messenger service replacement anyway.

well you could look if they have a printer shared over the network and print out a message :P

or depending on the router you could mess with the routing table, directing lets say google.com to a message from you, you put on the internet

Haha. I came up with the printer idea, but haven't done it because it's too iffy. It's probably what I'll end up going with if I don't just go to their house. The tables sounds interesting too, but I don't think I've got the know-how to pull that one off.

Anyway, so I watched some asian porn the other day, and couldnt watch more than 2 minutes because of that terrible moaning/crying sound they make.

Do real asians do that too, or is it just a porn thing?
How about westernized asians?

Ive never been with an asian, and want to...but not if i have to listen to that noise

A friend (yes, I went there, no, he doesn't work @ gamestop) told me that the 160gb PS3 has TWO lenses, one for DVDs and the other for blu-ray. I believe it doesn't make any sense, but I'm not about to crack open a 160GB PS3 just to prove him wrong. Any of you gaffers can confirm/deny this, please?

Yes and no, technically yes, they warn you not to do so, but I've had a PS3 in my flat at halls for two years with no issues at all and it's often very very smokey in there.

And I'm watching Cocktail.
 
Other than a bigger HD collection and some added convenience, what does the Apple TV offer that a computer with an HDMI out to a TV doesn't?

Breaking the bones has nothing to do with death. It's damage to your spinal cord that causes problems. If you happen to break your neck and severe the connection to the brain, however, that will be fatal. Technically the neck has nothing to do with it, but it's attached to the real cause.

It will be a bit uncomfortable, and you will likely bleed a bit, but it's nothing to be worried about.
As far as guys go, just make them wait for multiple dates before fucking. That'll weed out all of the guys who just want to fuck around and will leave the guys who actually mean something.
For the record, from my college experience, girls have proven to be waaaaaaay more whorish and shallow than the guys have, believe it or not.

Technically yes. Think of it kinda like dust. Too much is never a good thing. Chances are it won't be a problem though.
It will also make colors fade or become yellow, so watch out for that.

I find heating it helps. Also depends on the brand, some are very easy to open others just seem to crumble as you cut it.

I think it really depends on the amount of stuff you have for them to move and the weight of it, plus the addition of the distance of where you're moving. I can't really give you a total number since I've never hired a mover before or even considered everything I mentioned...
 
Ok so last week I saw the Final Destination in real 3d and was impressed with the 3D, my question is are current TV sets capable of decent 3d with glasses or are we a way off that yet?

The battery in my laptop stopped charging and because the light on the AC adapter is still lit I was recommended to buy a new one since they only last two years (I've had my laptop since 2007). My new battery will not charge either. I just reformatted and am running out of ideas. Advice?

Sounds like the back plug or back power connection is shot. Happened to my moms laptop.
 
So whats up with Remote Desktop? Or rather - whats up with copypasting from a remote desktop window? Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not work and i cannot figure out what makes it work. Drives me crazy :X

Yes, they will charge your pants off. My dad called 911 one time because he though he was having a heart attack. He got to the hospital and was fine. They charged him over $2,000.

You pay for whatever shows up, Ambulance, fire truck, helicopter etc.
