Copy the 2nd message you want to quote, in your message body type "QUOTE=Username" (except with the quotes replaced by brackets), paste the message and then put "/QUOTE" at the end (again, surrounded by brackets instead of quoatations)

EDIT: Or you can just copy and paste from another window/tab if you're lazy
 
I want to create a thread about the video game encyclopaedia I am creating and would like to have the help of gaf with this one.

If you have no idea of how to put quotes in a post yourself simply click quote on every post you want to quote and then copy the text of each window into one.

First you quote the first post you want to quote,then you click on the post number(it's on the right upper side)to open the second post you want to quote in another window,then you quote it and you copy the quote in your original message

You really can't go wrong with either. KEM's are generally considered the best cards out there, while a two deck set-up of "slightly worse" Copags will only run you $15. Comparing them directly, KEMs feel slicker while Copags have more of a paper texture. Both are pretty thin cards yet insanely durable.

I don't really have a preference though. I've got several of each and others like Modiano, Dal Negro and J Design and I can't say I'd strongly recommend one over the other. Most of my players love KEMs, for what it's worth. My advice is not to worry about it. You'll end up with like 30 decks before you know it anyway.
Or get KEM Arrows. Everyone loves those.
 
Could anyone give me a link to the SA thread where this originally came from? Or the one where they photoshopped a bunch of other pictures based on this.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably end up getting these then if Copag and KEM are relatively the same.

What's a good, cheap MP3 player to get? My new car has an mp3 port, but all I have is an old iPod shuffle. Don't need anything crazy; just something to keep the mess of CD players out of my car.

Was looking at something like this one here.
 
god damnit!!!!



when i was at my friends house earlier i took my PS3 over and he had a HDMI cable...so when i started it up over there it said something about do i wanna use it etc etc....now that im at my house i just tried to start it up and i cant see or here anything with my normal connections.


Is there a way i can fix this or do i need to hook it up to an HDMI cable again and switch it back??

Turn it on keeping the button pressed until you hear 3 beeps or something. It'll reset the output settings.

According to what a guy in my shop who had it done was telling us all, nothing changes. There is still an ejaculation, there is just nothing in it that could get a woman pregnant.
 
Uhm, I have my headphones plugged into the back of my PC. Directly into my onboard soundcard.

Windows calls them speakers - does this really matter? Would it make a difference if I opened up my PC and plugged in the front ports and used those?
 
A Firefox question:

The japanese text is really, really small in Firefox. It's practically unreadable without increasing the size of the text.

How do I increase the size of only the Japanese text and not anything else (English, images etc)?

It doesn't really matter. I do this all the time with my headphones. You will (maybe) have to tell the software for the sound card that they're headphones so it doesn't assume you have a subwoofer or something.

My question: Is seeing a movie in 3D REALLY worth it? I don't want to wear some red/blue 3D glasses and miss out on seeing some normally wonderful colours. In particular, I'm interested in the upcoming Toy Story 3D releases and seeing Up in 3D possibly.

I saw Coraline in 3D, and it was spectacular. The glasses these days aren't red/blue. It didn't affect the colors. And I actually wear glasses, so I had to put the 3D glasses on over my regular glasses, and it didn't bother me. I'm actually interested in seeing Toy Story 3D also. I would say go for the 3D.

3D movies are pretty damn impressive and are obviously the future. Whether it is worth the added cost depends on you. I would personally try going to one 3D movie and making your further choice based on that.

And yeah, modern glasses are clear. I can't wait until we no longer need the glasses in a few years.

Seriously, it seems like there are only three different people and they have a monopoly on the whole thing. Do companies just hire very skilled people who are great at imitating that one voice?

If I practiced that one voice, could I break into a Hollywood career as a trailer narrator and live a lavish lifestyle full of indulgence?

Voice actor sounds like an easy job but it's a lot harder than it seems.
And I don't know for America,but in France VAs often do theatre and little roles on Tv

I'm trying to remember the name of this show i watch as a child...

About a cop from the future who went back in time to catch criminals/refugees from the future and if i remember correctly take them back. Everyone from the future was current peak levels of physical fitness.. stronger faster .. all that jazz. I remember one episode specifically where the son of one of these criminals was trying to fit in as normal in school and one day couldn't take holding back anymore and set like a world record in the 100 meter and he's only like 14 or 15 years old...

Simple. Create a "con" folder and put everything in it. Easiest thing in the world to do.

Okay, but seriously, you can probably do something like store your pictures in a password protected RAR archive... It's encrypted, so only those who know your password can get in.

Call a couple of larger hobby/craft stores and see if they have them. Chances are the first one you call will carry them. I'd bet something like Michael's or Hobby Lobby would have them (dunno if those chains are in NY, though).
