1. Why is it that on news stations when they are doing translations of someone talking from a non english speaking country, they use translators who are native to the other language and not English? I would much prefer a translator who is English and can speak Persian rather than an Iranian who can speak English. I can't understand what they are saying through their thick accents.

I am watching this video of this jackass paying to get his car from an impound lot and he paid the $88 in pennies. The clerk refuses to accept it but the guy insisted that they were required by law to accept it. I certainly wouldn't want to count out all the pennies.
I would think that they have the right to accept them as payment in this case.

What are some of the tallest buildings to have been purposely demolished? I'm really not going for some truther angle; I'm just curious how well they can control the ground area the wreckage covers when there's so much extra mass vertically.
My searches find the Singer Building to have been the tallest, but the design with the top part being soooo much smaller than the bottom part kinda seems to cheat its way out of the mass-per-ground-area problems I had in mind.
