With Itunes, you place albums from it onto the Ipod.

Is there a program, which allows you to place albums from your Ipod into the program, which you can then edit and place back onto the Ipod?

I move around a lot and having Itunes on just 1 computer is impossible.
Is this what you are asking about?
http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/ontherun/how-to-copy-music-from-your-ipod-to-your-itunes-library-5615

I had to do this because I realized a bit too late that I was copying all my music onto the iPod but not the iTunes Library and that when I buy my own iPod, I will have to add all the music and edit the song titles again. So I did this to get all the music off the iPod and into iTunes. There are programs that can do that, but this works just as well.

Dear GAF, anyone knows a good website with military resources? Im looking stuff about how platoons, division, squads are represented on strategic maps and stuff. Kind of hard to explain really :lol
I hopped on google.com/unclesam and searched around some government websites but I really don't know what you are asking for. At work there are tons of real time displays showing everything going on in the AOR, but I can't really take a picture of it and label it for you. Here is a real basic site with what squadrons and stuff would be represented as on a map: http://www.history.army.mil/books/wwii/11-4/symbols.htm

I don't know what you are asking though.

Do you have an iPod Touch or a regular iPod? If it's a regular iPod, Floola should be able to copy the music off the device. If it's a touch, I think you're out of luck.

Its an Ipod Nano and thank you, the program is excellent. :D

The United States standard for that is called MIL-STD-2525B. I'm not sure if there is a NATO STANAG equivalent...probably.

anyone know the name of this girl?

In terms of video games, why are gamers/developers set on only 30fps or 60fps? What about the numbers in the middle? If a developer cant get 60fps, why not shoot for 45fps then?

I'm not sure but it might have to do with TV refresh rates that are 60hz in NTSC land. In PAL land where TV refresh rates were/are 50hz, games were/are running at 50fps or 25fps.

i dropped my pizza on the floor. my roommate spilled beer on the same spot yesterday so i figure that sanitized things? can i eat it?
In fermentation, the yeast keeps fermenting and multiplying until there's too much alcohol in the solution so that suggests that the beer has an excess of nutrients for supporting bacteria.

The alcohol itself would have probably evaporated in a few minutes since ethanol has a really low boiling point so having spilled some beer on it they day before should make it worse if anything.

It's probably fine though.

Biological hazard.

I had a dream about the legislation of this symbol. The first incarnation was of two ghouls loading the deceased and diseased remains of the dead into a cistern. It was ruled to be too religious and the modern abstract symbol was created. If you squint you can still see it.

Any way, my question was, when did all the strippers start wearing Flashdance style leggings? I've been suggesting this for over a decade now. Perhaps they will star wearing sneakers like I've been suggesting as well?

Yeah, but Air Force. Not quite a paper-pusher, a desk-jockey maybe?
I actually just found out about that google.com/unclesam trick. I was researching a form number to ship some parts off and my supervisor said "Go to google.com/unclesam. It only searches government and .mil websites."
Mind=blown

What's the crane and turtle in Asian mythos all about? Can't seem to find info on that.
"In Vietnamese culture, the turtle and crane each symbolize enduring power and longevity. The two, standing together, represent a healthy long life of happiness." - from a quick Google search.

I saw that, but the crane and turtle thing does not just exist in Vietnamese culture. I'm wondering if that same symbolism is common to others as well, e.g. Chinese or Japanese cultures.

So a while ago I asked the question of whether or not me not having an avatar could be the reason it seemed like noone ever paid attention to my posts and read over them. Some cool cats made me some avatars, but it didn't seem like anything changed. However, I just lost my junior status and now people are talking to me I guess.

Coincidence?

This is a dumb one...

How do I use spoiler tags when making threads? I can't for the life of me figure it out.

I'm sure it's something glaringly obvious I'm missing, but can someone help me out?

Yeah, god knows I've used that feature for the same reason so many times. I keep telling my supply guy about that too. :lol :lol

Type

without the slash in the first tag

Only integer divisions of whatever the refresh rate is will look steady, each frame having an equal amount of time on screen. So for a screen that refreshes 60 times per second that would give you
60 / 1 = 60
60 / 2 = 30
60 / 3 = 20
60 / 4 = 15

Whenever you see a format you don't know how to duplicate just quote the post and check how the user did it! :D

Are there any Iron Man comics where Tony Stark gets his human heart and all the shrapnel in his chest removed and replaced with a mechanical heart instead?

From watching the film it seems like the kind of thing he would do. Actually, maybe that happened in the film and I'm getting confused.

Here's a stupid question, how the frack is this show capable of building houses in less than a week? Are the walls made of cardboard or something? :P
Dry construction methods? Like Durlock and stuff like that.

So a beer bottle feel on the floor, and I used a towel to get all the tiny bits of broken glass.

How do I clean the towel? I'm afraid of putting it in the washing machine because the glass might stay in the machine and get in other peoples clothes.

I read through the FAQ for NeoGAF and couldn't find an answer. In July my avatar was banned because I did not follow the size limit rule. Will I ever regain the ability to change my avatar? No biggie if not, as it was clearly my fault for losing it in first place.

Should have used a paper towel. If I were you, I'd play it safe and just throw it out.

hang the towel on something outside and beat it with a stick, then rinse it out with a hose and let it dry outside, then beat it again. Surely that would shake any glass loose.

Probably not.

A dude in the Rock Band thread had the same thing happen and he got his back in like a year or something. It might be case by case basis and/or whether you were a junior when it happened but there's always hope.

I'd just rinse it outside then dry and wash.

Here's one, does Magneto have a harder time lifting 1 piece of metal that weighs 100 pounds or 100 pieces of metal that weigh 1 pound each? Like does his power work like a muscle so weight is weight or does he have to concentrate harder for more shit?

I think the answer is neither, since Magneto isn't real. :p

But I'd go with 100 pieces being harder, since it would split up his concentration.

I don't know how that show works but I knew someone who worked on Trading Spaces and he said everything is a really shoddy job and the workers are pretty careless with the rest of the house. Supposedly they dinged the walls, paint spilled and applied sloppy, etc...

Dear GAF,

I have a stupid question about social etiquette.

When you are at a pedestrian crossing, and you see a mother with a young child, and the mother is going out of her way to 'teach' her child about pressing the button to prompt the green man and so on - do you ignore it and cross the road as it suits you, or do you stick yourself to the spot and wait for the green man so as not to provide a bad example to the child?

I'm talking about situations when it's just you and the parent/kid.

I've had this conundrum a number of times in the past, but today as I walked out onto the road, I heard the child ask the mother something, and then the mother saying 'that's because he's a bold boy'. I'm pretty sure she was referring to me :lol

So GAF, what to do?

Love,

-gofreak

Sister dropped her MyTouch 3G phone in a parking lot onto asphalt. The corner has black stuff on it. What's the best way to clean that? The damage is done, but if the blackness could be cleaned out at all, that would be nice to know.

I would just wait. I would wait if I was alone too.

I don't think this has ever happened to me, but if I weren't in a rush and actually overheard the conversation, I would wait.

Walk however you want. It teaches the kid that not everyone agrees with his parents' view. This helps smooth out the teenage years.

It's time for me to ask a stupid question.

Why the hell doesn't Sprite taste like Lemon Lime soda like it's advertised? I mean, I never really thought about it until the other day where I mentioned it to one of my coworkers. Squirt tastes like citrus and it's advertised as tasting that way, but do any of you guys honestly think of lemon lime when you taste Sprite? Cuz I sure as hell don't. :lol
