More screen room was my favorite thing about my old job. This may sound crazy and I've got a pic on gaf somewhere showing it but I had 4 monitors at my old job. It was glorious. I could have one monitor dedicated to GAF and still be able to have all of my production tools up.
 
Does anyone know if if the numbers on their W-2 form is the same as the numbers on the last paycheck of the year(that pay period ended 12/31) in terms of earnings, SS tax, medicare tax, gov. and local tax YTD?

What's the deal with Jamaica, Queens? Are there actually a lot of Jamaicans there? Is that the Jamaicatown of NYC or something?

Having lived there during most of my childhood, no the name is completely unrelated to the amount of Jamaicans there. Sure, there are Jamaicans who live in the area but again there is no relation. I'd say it's moreso populated with West Indians nowadays.
 
I have a question. I'm planning on giving my friend my account (since I don't really go on NeoGAF all that much anymore) because he wasn't approved due to email issues (he has no "non-free" email address to use). The only thing is I need to change my username. My username relates to all of my other accounts (Facebook as well), and I'd rather not have an account with my same name saying how "some dude is super hot" on NeoGAF if someone can find it (I have a lot of friends that lurk NeoGAF). Might confuse my girlfriend. :lol

Is there any way to accomplish this?

EDIT: I'd be willing to let my friend use my email, if that's any consolation.
 
I can't think of any topics for my college admission essay, so would it be wise of me to just post up a short story that I wrote a while back and got a good grade for instead?
 
I've got two Apple questions.

-I have a few music videos I bought off the store awhile ago. Anyway to play them as a "song" and not always a music video? Plus, would they work on an iPod classic if I were to ever switch from my Touch?

-Are there any external speakers / microphones for a Gen. 1 iPod Touch? I saw sites like Think Geek have a little microphone thumbtack looking device but they only work on Gen. 2+. I'd love to have both or either for my first generation.

Not even close. DDF was a GAF poster ages ago, before he got permaed. He picked up the meme from here.

Long, long ago, before GAF became Neo, there was a poster called KiNeSiS. This guy was always a good time--he posted with tons of unnecessary paragraph breaks, so his posts always looked like some kind of strange abstract poetry. He also thought he was hot shit with the ladies, and chased after Serafitia via PM before the whole Serafakia saga broke (hence the "GIRL LET ME TOUCH YOU" meme).

Anyway, one day KiNeSiS tried to return a game to Gamestop (which game exactly is, tragically, lost to the mists of time--blame PuzzleDonkey). He ran face-first into their new return policy, and wasn't allowed to return the game. He made an enormously long post ranting about this policy, and smugly reported to us at the end of it that, as he walked out of the game store, he "pushed over the fucking magazine rack!" just to show those Gamestop plebes who was boss.

He never lived it down.

Honest question, does being fat make your penis look smaller? I lost 45 lbs since last year and it seems kinda...bigger? Or maybe it was because my belly was huge?

It's mostly useful for working in my experience. I just wrote an essay for university and I had my word document on the right screen and the review on the other one which is much more comfortable than alt-tabbing or splitting the screen in two. Of course it's also nice to be able to play a game on one screen and leave instant messaging, music, browser or whatever open on the other screen but for me that's really more a gadget than anything.

For some overweight individuals, a layer of fat develops on the pubic bone giving the illusion of a..ahem "shorter" dick. That, coupled with a protruding belly, will give the bigger individual the impression that their penis is small if they look down at it. So yeah, losing the weight definitely helped out.

I need some help from anyone who knows about UK Law regarding Will's.

What the issue is my grandmother in law has asked us to help with her will, now what i wanted to check on was what her plan to do with her house is.

What she wants to do is, she has 2 daughters and wants to let one of the daughters have the house for 5 years, then once the time is up she has to sell the house and then split it 50/50 with her sister. Once that is done each sister has to give 50% of their money to each of their 2 kids.

So out of the money made from the house each daughter gets 25% and each grandchild gets 12.5%.

Now what i wanted to know is can she legally do all of this or are there any rules that would prevent her from having this plan in particular the 5 year rule.

Any help would be great, thanks.
 
Where does the expression 'get the hell out of dodge' come from? The literal meaning of the word dodge ('avoid something or somebody by quick, sudden movement) doesn't really seem in place. Kinda curious :).
 
Thanks! I was figuring it could be something like that. There's a lot of expressions in each language with stories behind them but it's often hard to find out about them if you're not a native speaker.

It will look smaller because the strange proportions will distort the viewers understanding of it's real size. My father always goes on and on about how i should keep my hair short so i don't look even thinner than i already am. And when i cut my hair, most people tend to notice it.

Pardon the personal question, but as someone who learned most that there is to learn about Sera, i have a huge urge to know more about her, simply because i'm really interested in understanding such cases.

Answer only if you want, but i'd like to know, if you can answer, if she's better, worse, the same, still alive, and most importantly, if she's at least living a happy life. I'll understand if you want to answer, you seem to have invested quite an emotional effort, and i certainly don't want to talk about things that required the same of me.

It's meant to symbolize the impotent rage/fanatical excitement of a internet forum poster. The poster is so mad/excited that they'll slip off the SHIFT key when placing 100 "!'s"

For example. "FFVII is teh worste game ive ever played!!11!!!"

So my windows media player wont work. It worked two days ago and I hadn't changed anything and then it just wouldn't open. I would click on the icon from the start menu and a hourglass would come on for about a half a second and then nothing would happen. I went to task manager and it wasn't showing up on there either. I tried uninstalling, but it just "rolled back" to my previous version, which also didn't work. Should I just manually delete the folder from my hard drive and start fresh? Or is there some other way?
