My dogs lick each others faces all the time so I'm guessing it depends on the dog? I thought dogs do that to everything, they lick my cat too :lol

How come so many titles in Japanese are in English? Just looking at all the recent FFXIII pickups in the gaming forum they all have English letters and I've noticed that with most things over there. Can they actually read them or is it almost like a recognizable symbol?

Well maybe that was a bad example. Why do Japanese based companies use English? I never see Capcom or Nintendo's logo with Japanese lettering. I just don't understand that. I have no knowledge of Japanese whatsoever though so maybe I'm missing something basic.
 
Why do people have to try and give their thread a snazzy/witty title?

Instead of "The Official [game] Thread", they have to have some dumbass suffix to it, like

"The Official [game] Thread of Sopping Panties and Honey Nut Cheerios for a Balanced Breakfast"

I mean, what the shit? It's bad enough that there's enough time devoted to an OP for a thread that'll be buried in no time, but to sit around thinking up the extra part of the title...

Maybe the read question should be "why does this bug the fuck out of me?"
 
If you build a simple guitar/ukulele, is it necessary to put frets in, or can the instrument be made without them.

There is no need for frets. I can't recall seeing fretless guitars, but I've seen fretless basses many times.
 
Was Sid Meier's Pirates! available on the US PSN at some point? I'm positive that I've seen it on there. Anyway, I was looking for it last night and couldn't find it. The UMD version was 80 dollars on Amazon brand new.

It was on XBLA as an Original, but I don't recall seeing it on PSN.

Bonus entertainment for the people that aren't interested in the contents of the thread. Your example got a laugh out of me, so even if I wasn't interested in reading a thread about Sopping Panties and Honey Nut Cheerios for a Balanced Breakfast (although I can't imagine who wouldn't be), the thread title provided me with some enjoyment.

That's probably the case. If dupe accounts posted in there, they'd be banned as well, and there only seems to be one banned account.

One account was banned and he decided to go out in a blaze of failure by committing account suicide by posting some picture there. Like Vennt said, he bans anyone with multiple accounts here.

What are the new avatar rules? I've had the same one for ages (Dr. Manhattan), but now it's been zapped from high orbit.

Without the search working I can't find anything on what was wrong with my old one, new rules, or even whether I *can* change it.

Can any gaffers point me the way to wisdom?

There aren't any new rules. They just decided to give the new juniors a chance to fix their avatars, and in the process, a list was made of all users with non-compliant ones.

I'm playing COD:MW2 and whatever, then all of a sudden it wont let me connect to a game, even though I was just in a game I connected to. Now when I goto Xbox Live on the main menu, it stalls when its going to fetch my rank and all that shit and now I can't connect to shit. WHY?!
 
Why when I start Windows Media Player in Windows 7 does it say in the bottom right "updating media library" and then create duplicates of all my songs. Any way to make it stop?

You take 11,381 / 0,95 and you get 11980. I think that should be correct.

No, but people called to complain about the delivery driver I worked with during college. He was put on notice, and later was caught stealing. That tripped everyone out because everyone liked him, but I think he felt like he was gonna get fired one way or another. He'd complain about how hard it was to get to places on time without driving crazy. But I never rode with him so I have no idea.

My friend is a truck driver and he said you're pretty fucked if people complain about your driving. Truck drivers are dispensable, at least at his company.

Basically similar but most Pentium Dual Cores have only 1 MB cache, slower FSB and no hardware virtualization.

Well, you could play video files burnt on a dvd. Under the "my xbox" scroll through and click on "Video Library" , once you do that, you will see a bunch of options, click on "currect disc". is it mp4? or straight up mpg? I dont think xbox plays mpg files.

It's a mpg. I think you're right because my 360 doesn't detect it when I try to stream it from my PC either.
