Is there some sort of Twitter app sort of like the widgets/Gadgets for Windows that updates your Twitter Feed instantly, preferably with an audio queue? I'm tired of missing giveaways while being online @ my PC just because I didn't check twitter.com at the moment something was posted. :/

How do I recover pictures from a formatted SD card?
My phone said the SD card was corrupted and I had to format it but there are a lot of pictures I want.

If you already formatted it then everything is gone.

Try ImageRescue or similar software. I recovered 3 years of pictures from a card formated every month.
 
^ Son of a bitch, I could have used that information a while back. I threw out a "corrupted" harddrive with a year's worth of photos from my travels in Beijing.

Fuck.

Anyways, anyone know how I can round up all the documents written in the past year on my Mac? I need to show documentation that a teacher of mine was an ass.

Hey man, shit happens and things don't always work out the way you hope. I didn't graduate on time, and it did hurt inside, and I did feel like shit over it, but at least we are trying to get an education, right? Best of luck.
 
What are those teachers/professors called that supervise club activities in high schools and college? Sometimes they don't even stay and you just need one to form the club. I can't remember the position and it's been driving me crazy. It's not chaperone, is it?

Droid. Google makes the operating system...Motorola makes the phone...Verizon sales it. What? Who gets most of the profit? How is this beneficiary? WHy can't Motorola just sale their own phones without Verizon? Why doesn't Verizon *make* it's own phone? Sooo confusing.

without knowing the us market my guess for profit for each sold cellphone would be
Verizon > Motorola > Google

As for "making" ???? - no telecommunication-service-provider company makes their own phones.

try Recuva from maker of ccleaner.it's free. i formatted my sd card(i thought i copied all of my pictures to hard drive, which i didn't). i tried about 4 or 5 other free software with no luck before using RECUAVA. i recovered every single picture with it.

Each makes profits off their contribution. Verizon makes the most money off cell service, Motorola off the phone, Google off the OS.

It's just like TV where Panasonic is the manufacture (Motorola), Directv is the service provider (Verizon), & HBO is the content provider (HBO or maybe the actual set top box too).

Contracts are in place that ensure exclusivity. Verizin has to pay for that (I would think.)

Errr, without specific role context?

Renderer = one whom designs the graphical throughput of an eventual engine. (I.e. the visuals). Alternatively someone who may produce fmv/fma in a data restrictive target.
EDIT: or perhaps you meant as a concept rather than job title? In which think of it as my first explanation, minus the "eventual". At this stage the renderer would most likely refer to the actual visual output of said engine.

Rigger = one whom inserts an animatable bone structure into a character. Alternatively could be used to describe someone programming events within the game.

EDIT2: Blasted alcohol and G1 keyboard.
 
Really stupid question I know but...

Is there a way to change the language on an iPhone (3GS) ? Mine was in french and after synching it with iTunes it is now in english and I'd like to have it in french again.

I've seen a bunch of Star Wars threads lately. Lots of the posts contain very justifiable bitching about Lucas's bad decisions.

My question is this: Why aren't there any big-budget, multi-movie space operas these days?

I guess the last one I can remember was Chronicles of Riddick, but it just wasn't good enough to take off. Why hasn't anyone else tried? I mean, with the quality of lots of writers nowadays along with the huge advances in tech you'd think besting Star Wars would be pretty doable. Why hasn't it happened?

I did a few years ago; messaged one of the mods, didn't get a response but next time I logged on, it was changed to the new name I requested.

I would suggest downloading Malwarebytes. If your computer has been compromised, Malwarebytes will, in all likelihood, find and eliminate the spyware/trojan/adware that is relaying information from your computer.
 
How do you go about getting someone to write up a preview for your game? I'm making one that's nearing launch and I'd like to get a little traction. Any ideas?
 
Can anyone tell me something about PSN? I'm wondering, if I play say FF IX with my discs on the Ps3 and save my game, is that save then compatible with the PSN FF IX if I choose later to download it? Also if I transfer the game to PSP, can I also transfer that same save as well?
