Kulon translated from spanish is pretty funny (well, spelled with a C, anyway) I sure hope they keep that name in there.

I wish them success.![]()

They haven't even shown anything concrete, and all of a sudden "haha 16 people, hahaha dude, hahah, dude, and dudette dude, hahaha, surfs up Keano!!"
Shut the fuck up. Maybe it's the "support the underdog" in me, but until they have anything substantial ease up on the GAF hate...
EDIT: Err...if this is a screenshot for one of their games, I think they need to step it up:

But still, open mind people, open mind.

SuomiDude said:I think it's pretty silly to bash the guys saying how their game titles sucks (Orb isn't any worse than Halo for example)
No, no it's not. This is the most unquestionable aspect of this discussion. Their concept story is so terrible, I literally thought it was just a joke website at first. It reads like a glorified fanfic, and they should frankly be embarrassed. Of course, like CVXFreak said... programmers aren't necessarily designers or writers... but then they should start to hire someone. If I was a company that was potentially going to publish a title of theirs, and they presented me with this concept (putting aside for a moment whatever 'gameplay' they're going to have)... I'd tell them to go back to school, and stop shitting up my time.SuomiDude said:the story sucks (just as "good" as most of the other stuff out there by real developers)
SuomiDude said:But I guess bashing other people makes you guys feel good or something.

Amir0x said:So were they testing their ability to put shit on a PC?
SuomiDude said:(If you're wondering why I defend the team so much, I happen to know one of the guys working on the game from one other forum. He's a cool guy, and IMO he has his feet on the ground with the project, not trying to reach too high in the air...)

Reasons for nomination include "Best Dialogue", "Best Characters", "Best Descriptive Language", "Most Creative" with praise from other student being "very emotional and very deep", "I felt like I was playing Zelda", "The detail of the locations was very intriguing. Most places set up a scene very loosely, you discussed the color of tiles on a temple wall!"

Amir0x said:Ah, that explains it. Well if you're his friend at all, I'd tell him to go back to the drawing board entirely or simply remove the concept from his website until it's in a shape that is fit for public consumption.

Explain this to me. I grew up right near there -- I know it's not a particularly great school, but it has a reputation?Amir0x said:The university where he beat out 120 other creative stories must have been Arcadia University.
