I did that as soon as I thought people were full of crap about skirt being able to mean a woman =\
Another hint, although this may kind of give it away:
It begins with A, but the word does not start with A.

Nevermind the word skirts, never mind the 'start with a'. Focus on this 'Useful for looking up [any word]'.

I still have no clue about what to do with 1.06!

heh, I am getting strange looks myself for saying it outloud.

I have known that since I entered this thread. -_-
thats why I said it was lame that the word doesn't start with A, and even brought up my example of encyclopedia.

only things I know to look stuff up in:

phonebook
dictionary
encyclopedia

tried em all before I made my first post. I dunno what else to look stuff up in unless its some weird ass lookiing up a cliff with binoculars or something. I give up, its time for lunch.

I'm still stuck there, too. I can see how it is SWYS, but I'm still not getting concrete words out of it. I think I'm phrasing it wrong or something. Honestly, the best I can come up with is "Four ease" "peasy" _______ "sigma." Of course, I really have no idea what the last symbol is. Maybe it doesn't spell a sentence, but is a pattern. If its a pattern, I'm still not entirely sure I get it.

Maybe you made a typo.

Try them again. Perhaps you mispelled one of them.

THE ULTIMATE SPOILER - DON'T READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO WORK IT OUT YOURSELF.

I think this is just one of those ones you aren't going to get.

You've already looked up skirts in a dictionary?

I've been rattling my brain over 1.03 for nearly 45 minutes and I just can't get it. Any more hints?

I don't suppose anyone could let me in on a hint on how to use Photoshop's channel mixer to divine the answer to 1.03?

Belfast/Society/anyone else stuck on 1.06:

Belfast put me on the right track. It is SWYS, and makes a phrase. But instead of 'four ease' for the first bit think 'easy', and be more literal with the last symbol. It isn't sigma, say what is happening with it. The 2 arrows are significant ...

What a little bastard that was!

For 1.6
Is Philosophypoliticsandpretendeconomics significant?
I am getting desperate. :(

I seriously doubt it. I'm pretty sure its not an abbreviation of any kind. Its more like the whole ICUP thing. Eye-Cee-Ewe-Pea translates to "I see you pee." That's usually what's indicated by a SWYS puzzle. Still, I'm just not getting the words.

Yeah, I kept getting the "easy" hint for the first block, but I could never figure out the logic behind it. So its "easy peasy" but I've got to figure out the rest of the phrase now....

Edit: post and solve....that was kind of silly. I've heard that phrase used in a different way, with a different ending.

I'm at the third puzzle now, figured the first two out by myself and it feels good getting the answer right even though they're not really difficult, you have to think outside of the box and that's really refreshing.

ok, that 6th one is ridiculous. I've never heard that phrase before in my life. I got it by searching in google after I got the first two words. It was in an urban dictionary with (UK) next to it, so I don't doubt a lot of you might not get it because, like me, you've never heard the phrase before. Get the first 2 words, then google it is my advice.

Or try urbandictionary.com

Yeah, had a feeling 1.06 might be British-only ...

And it's not even used that much here anymore anyway, been ages since I've heard it.

Think my brain is too worn out now for 1.07!

fucking mispelling of dictionary. fuck these fingers, fuck them!

aaaanyway. After being thrown through a wild goose chase of mispelling dictionary, of thinking a fetus was somehow looking up a woman's skirt, eating lunch, and then coming back and retyping dictionary, I am now on 1.06 and confused. From the comments and urban dictionary I get:

easy peasy lemon squeezy
but that didn't work.

I understand
squeeze and and peasy, but not easy nor quesiton mark

I have no idea where this saying is going and the urban dictionary one I found that didn't work is the only thing I've come across. Help? =\

slayn: The answer is just the missing word (the ?), not the whole thing.

1.07 is a real bitch. I got it quite quickly, but I still don't get all the clues.

Which is the easiest (most obvious) clue to focus on? :P

Edit: lol post and solve. :P Ya 3 and 4 dont make sense to me.

I demand that magnet/compass be a correct answer for 1.07...

a compass has hands like a watch
a compass guides you through strange lands
every human has a 'mini compass' in their nose, which would be reasonably close to your ears which is where that gland is ro so dictioanry.com tells me
a magnetic field is endless in that you could follow the fields forever... or something.

-_-

Big spoiler (as in it includes the answer):

Finally, finally endless I am

Finally = at last. Endless = at las

you just need to know your colors for 1.03 ie, how would one create the color cyan.

you don' tneed ms paint for this, but if you don't know your colors it can teach you. Like adding red and blue togethor to see what you get.

1.03 was my favourite so far. :) If people are having this much trouble with some of these, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth when they hit 1.08...

1.03:

colors are always derived from 3 base colors. In the case of a computer monitor, its red green and blue. One can then get black by having none of them. One can get cyan by having both blue and green, magenta by having red and blue, yellow by having red and gree, white by having all 3.
