Time Trap on Netflix. *spoilers*

Has anyone seen this? It's a 2017 flick. Netflix suggested this to me, maybe because I like sci-fi, and the trailer looked cool so I took a chance. I really enjoyed it.

It's not a big production/big budget film by any means, but I thought the story was cool. I like how they tried to stay consistent with the time anomaly. The view from inside/outside the cavern, the rope, the sun's movement and solstice... They cared enough to make it look believable.

I thought it was funny how they didn't seem to be bothered upon realizing that they're friends and family were most likely long dead. lol

I recommend if you enjoy time travel stories.

Anyone else seen it?

That was a pretty cool movie.
You should check out the movie Triangle. It's a mindfuck time paradox. I have a bunch of movies like that on a playlist somewhere. I'll update post when I find it.

Yeah I stumbled across this awhile ago and was really impressed with how consistent it was in it's rules and how it really pushed it's concept to the limit. There were a few hokey parts due to the budget - but overall it was a solid movie.
I wish there was a way to sort through low budget movies, especially in the sci-fi and 'creature feature' categories as the gems like this are often hidden in a sea of crap.

I just watched this yesterday thanks to your post. It was a pretty cool although the ending was lackluster but overall cool. I'm still not sure who those cavemen were and how they kept themselves fed all these years.

You guys should check out The Endless on Netflix. Very cool concept of time mixed in with a cult. Lemme know if you watch it. I was very pleasantly surprised.

It’s a similar choice to some of the other movies listed here.

Watched it a while ago. Was really surprised how entertaining it was. It's clearly made for kids/teens but it was really fun movie.

It's extremely unapologizing with its central idea.
I figured out before the movie told me that time passes outside the cave years in a very short moment, and I hoped it would be like that and I was glad to see it was exactly that. Then I hoped there wouldn't be a resolution that rewinds time or makes another easy resolution to the problem of the world being thousands if not tens of thousands years in the future after being in the cave only for a short time and it didn't!

I really liked it too. Almost like a Twilight Zone/Outer Limits episode blown up into a whole, really cool movie.

It singlehandedly made me more open to checking out small, unknown movies on the streaming services.

Watched it. Enjoyed it.

I began to wonder how no animals wander into the cave, but I figure that would have been an increase in budget. I think they used the budget wisely to highlight certain moments.

yeah i checked it out in a whim as well and thought it was pretty great. the premise was really cool, and i love how they really went all the way with it. fun watch.

There's been so much weird viral advertising for this, my phone constantly telling me "make sure you see this sci-fi film before it leaves Netflix!" it was just okay, holy shit what is all this hype about.

I kinda skipped to all the major plot points. I think it's interesting. Glad I didn't watch the whole thing though.

Terrible acting and i had to plough through bad writing and delivery to get to the subject which i think is cool. But the acting and script is so bad its boderline B grade movie material.

Im watching 'The Invitation' now but the main character Eden has so much fucking filler in her face its annoying the shit out of me.

Edit: turns out the only thing thicker than this idiots lips are the morons that make up the characters in this film; cept Jesus, he and the audience know whats up.

It wasn't years for the cavemen they had only been in there for maybe a day as they perceived it.

This was good. At first I had no idea what was going on, didn't even know it was a time travel story. The parts of the movie with the most severe time anomalies (the 5 second loops) are well made. The kind of movie where you have no idea what will happen. (y)(y)
