Titan executions are a way to finish off a Doomed Titan. If you want to play with fire and stay in your Titan when it is doomed close to other enemy Titans that is a big risk. Therefore when someone finishes you off with an execution they should not be punished for that imo.

If you were allowed to damage Titans while they executed another Titan no one would do them which would hurt Ronin's effectiveness a ton and Scorch a little as well.

Executions take way too long right now for there not to be an invulnerability phase.

Yeah, as somebody that has wasted an Ion core blast on more than a few Titans performing executions, I only blame myself. I like executions, I like using them. I can get better at identifying and waiting for them, because I'd rather they stay a part of the game.

I'm about Level 26 and still don't know how this post-game reward thing works, or the 2XP codes I've been using. I just watch the boxes fill in and sometimes I get a merit, sometimes I don't.

What is the 2XP even for? It comes up last and seems to give me 2-3 extra merits per game. Is that double? Or am I getting the 2XP during gameplay somewhere?

Tbh, I think the invincibility is a good thing in this game. It's just bizarre how the rules just don't apply to Tone.

In R1, Titan Executions were faster and we important to try because they were reliable to execute and because Goosing was EXTREMELY difficult there (almost impossible for some weapons). Titan kills were also only worth 5 back then, and Doomed Titans sort of stayed there because they didn't reward points anymore.

In this game, as a Tone or Northstar, I'd rather not do it unless the enemy Titan is desperately asking for it.

I have grown to like Complex. Somehow, it became my best map (in Bounty Hunt) since it's SO easy to carry people. I don't think that makes it a good map, just that I can enjoy it.

If you fill a box you get a merit. You get double merits for a double XP code. Depenfing on your level you need a number of merits to level up.

Ronin is madness for Bounty Hunt because of the speed and added survivability, and Northstar doesn't cut it for Attrition. She's a little bit of a crutch, but that's fun, no?

I would be fine with her if I could easily noscope pilots but I often struggle hitting standing pilots because of how the crosshair works :|

I think you can get the accuracy bonus instantly from quick scoping.

I've seen a lot of Goosers happen because of it.

Too lazy to test, but I only hipfire if I'm close and trying to get a Titan's attention to attack me.

TBH...

Find the EPG and get the shotty. Don't worry about grenade boosts etc.

Use a grenade for the very first set of enemies, use shotty for all the rest apart from the other set of 3 (use EPG for that one).

Follow the same route as the ghost.

I know you think this is some clever heat, but it's just obnoxious. Even if I hated Crash Site and Reapers 100% or something (and it's always worth questioning & talking about), to turn around and say people should lose jobs or are bad leaders & designers over them is some high-powered ignorance. The two or three people you're accidentally referring to are fantastic, hard-working, and have quietly been responsible for much of what we've enjoyed (and I've been lucky to work on) in modern MP shooters since 2007.

I totally missed the fact that the thread regenerated.

I hit G4 and I'm settling back into silly Volt run and gun suicide tactics. I know I could probably do better camping with a Hemlock or G2, but I just have more fun when I'm running around like a crazy person spitting hot blue lasers at everyone.

I also like how the game encourages regeneration... for over a decade of play, I've maybe do the whole prestige/regeneration thing once, in Titanfall 1, because I didn't want to grind again to get all the stuff I was used to using. At this point, I have all the set ups that I want to the point where I might actually unlock the 6-4 faction because the 6-4 is a god damned family!

That's how I started out as well- people don't realise that the AIs are worth more points than the players.

It's just unfortunate that AI don't count to your weapon level, hence I don't play BH as much.

True, you do level up slowly. I'm merely a bit above average in attrition, so still lose a lot, but in BH I just win every round.

Make sure you press "Done with Message"

Then when you start a match, you can use the Double XP or use the Coliseum Tickets.

Xbox One Asian datacenters is like, 0 out of Attrition, 50-80 at day on Attrition, 100-200 at night. On PS4 however, it is ~500 ish at day, 2000 at night, fast search on pretty much all the main modes, save for CTF.

Play Amped Hardpoint

Domination is actually my favorite mode in COD. But I don't like Amped Hardpoint. The "Amped" part of it ruins the mode IMO. I wish it was just about taking over points and either moving on or defending it. But the fact that you can earn more points by standing around longer makes people want to and that really slows the game down.

I'll still play it but I think it was a big mistake to add the "Amped" part to this mode.

Maybe try to run around the outskirts of the map more, and not through the map if that makes sense? As well as that use Camo more perhaps?

People usually only notice Camo when a person is closer or in front of them. Running a lot the outskirts of the map will put you in the peripheral view of probably half the players, and Camo should help you get the first shot on them.

Even after over 50 hours of playing this game I still don't have all the maps memorized. Sometimes I'm just moving around without knowing exactly where I am so that's definitely something I should consider. As for camo, I must admit I prefer the stock colors. But something that suits the maps could help.
