I'm not sure how I feel about the info yet. Getting new content is great, but I'm not too thrilled that the new maps are only dedicated to the new mode. I would have loved a roadmap too, but it makes sense not to promise exact dates up front.

This is just the process of "realistic" or coherent topography. We're playing the campaign in a kinda jungly area so it's only natural for these areas to contain sedimentary rocks

Balancing should be done like right now. Not when the next DLC is coming out. NOW. Why wait? What's the point? Everyone knows what needs to be fixed.

Can anyone give me some tips on the CAR? I feel like it should be the best SMG but I can't quite use it. The alternator just feels more reliable at mid and close range.

If all goes as planned, there will likely also be a server-side hotfix update for various issues, well before this full client update is live.
But we're usually pretty conservative on details until they're 100% locked in and we know we can press a button to make it so.
They can make weapon adjustments on their end without needing to go through cert.

It is the best SMG. I love it. Practically saved the game for me after the volt nerf. As far as tips go i'd suggest a combination of hipfire and ADS. Start shooting at the hip and then ADS for the final bullets for precision.
It might sound counter intuitive but long distance is when you don't want to ADS, it makes it worse. This is true of all SMGs because of the ADS sway
Here's what I mean
Left is the result of tap firing with hip fire, right is the result of tap firing with ADS. The weapons natural sway in ADS makes the spread pattern really poor. I took this for some other purpose a while a go, but it shows what I mean.

I'm no expert, but even if that's the case I imagine it's not as simple as changing a few values on demand. I would guess they would still have to do testing their end to make sure the changes are balanced and be sure they don't create any weird, unforeseen bugs or something.
Like I say, I'm no expert.
This could be true and all but the way the controller works, with the thumbsticks, it's not that easy to keep precision strictly with hipfiring, at least not with my sensitivity.
In order for me to make those quick turn arounds i need the sensitivity to be at "very high" which then causes the hip movement to be somewhat twitchy. I need the ADS to rebalance me during my acrobatics =D

Mark crosshair dot spot with something like marker or 3rd party crosshair.
Makes aiming 200% easier.
