Titanfall Gameplay Footage (Embargo Lifted)

It really just looks like call of duty with jet packs, and mechs. I don't really see anything that looks really "next gen". I actually think that Evolve, and Destiny look superior.

“It's alpha”. That's the excuse for now for Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall. The game is still in alpha. Even though it's going to be on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in March, the excuse for the graphics you're going to see in this article is that the game is still “in alpha”. I don't buy it, but that's the excuse. I'm just laying that out there.

I'm just going to say it: The Xbox One version does not look good by comparison... at all.

I wasn't hyped for this game and after watching these videos, it's just not for me. looks fun for COD fans though I'll wait for Destiny.
 
I guess the mechs bring the wow factor. Might pick it up for the 360 if the word around here is good and I grow too frustrated with DS II
 
I really wanted this game when they first showed it.... the art direction is excellent and the concept is really cool. It was my one regret about not buying an XBOX One and going with the PS4.

But... then they said it was coming to PC too, and I was happy.

But then they took the campaign away... why make such an awesome universe and then not do anything with it? Did we not learn from Brink?

I want to be interested in Titanfall. I really really do. But.... I'm just not.
 
I'm definitely getting the PC version.

Not going to play around with upscalers or watered-down eye candy.

I want native 1080p at 60fps at ultra settings and I shall have it!
 
Which platform is the Giantbomb footage running on? It looks a lot cleaner than the alpha. There are no jaggies where there was some in the alpha.
 
Zzz still looks like every other military shooter but with mech and traversal gimmick instead of destruction and scale or gimmicks x/y.

Best friend who has an xb1 isn't interested either.

That comparison has nothing to do with what the press was shown. That comparison is from 8 days ago and compares the E3 trailer and the alpha with textures at 25%
