Will watch all of this

Which platform is the Giantbomb footage running on? It looks a lot cleaner than the alpha. There are no jaggies where there was some in the alpha.

Do you expect Destiny to be like Halo?

I don't ever remember this game having a campaign announced?
Those comparison images are weird. I don't doubt that the PC version will have noticeably better image quality but the Xbox One shots in that article look to be suffering horribly from jpeg or similar compression artifacts while the PC shots do not.
360 @ 720p confirmed
The campaign is part of online MP. Cutscenes before and after matches. Like Brink.I was under the impression that the "campaign" was actually mission-to-mission online co-op with a story mixed in.
Did they dump that and just went with PvP?
No, but I like the whole exploration/MMO aspect of Destiny a lot more. This game is made for COD fans and it will be successful.
The Giantbomb preview is the one to watch
From what I've played that's exactly what it was. Really hoping there's more to it but it was very fun.The campaign is part of online MP. Cutscenes before and after matches. Like Brink.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Ok, I officially hate the concept of burn cards after watching that part of the Giant Bomb Quicklook.
The whole narrative around this game has been "balance, balance, balance". Burn cards go COMPLETELY against that.
It seems to be a one-off bonus to help you if you die but many of the later cards just look like xp-boosts etc.
Maybe they could be used for a more tactical reason. Like when you change class in Battlefield because more vehicles are around. Swapping to engineer makes sense. Now for Titanfall, imagine if your team is getting stomped by Titans., so you swap class and use burn cards for those Electric Grenades, or increased Titan defence etc.
I really wanted this game when they first showed it.... the art direction is excellent and the concept is really cool. It was my one regret about not buying an XBOX One and going with the PS4.
But... then they said it was coming to PC too, and I was happy.
But then they took the campaign away... why make such an awesome universe and then not do anything with it? Did we not learn from Brink?
I want to be interested in Titanfall. I really really do. But.... I'm just not.
I really hope there's a Titan only game mode

I'm gonna call it right now. It's going to be useless and they should not have bothered. It probably is just a glorified tutorial. The campaign is in the game it's called Campaign Multiplayer.
What is there to copy? Traversal and platforming is really the only thing to take away from it. Mech genre is still too niche and gameplay is more grounded in CoDYou know this game will be copied and fast. Probably around 2015, there will be some clones unveiled.
Some PC footage. Still looks like a 360 game, still looks like CoD with moon gravity and mechs for killstreaks.
