They should announce it's cancelled already and stop all this nonsense.
The right time has always been as soon as possible. The longer they stretch it out, letting fans hold on to hope, the more they will look like a bunch of dicks if they finally confirm that it is dead. The fact that their community awareness and PR has never been stronger and they're still not saying anything is the most positive sign that it is still in development. It makes absolutely no business sense to string people along if the project doesn't exist. They just wait for the right time to announce the cancellation...
God I love One Piece. :lol
If it has been cancelled, I would wait until Bloodborne is released to announce it. Like say, oh btw Last Guardian is canceled and the team that was working on it is transitioning to the next new From game which will also be PS4 exclusive. Then release a video on PSN that is basically a 30 minute video showing everything they had of TLG as a movie to satiate the fans.
I wouldn't be surprised if some SCE Japan Studio employees who worked on The Last Guardian are coordinating with From Software on Bloodborne as we speak.
What a tough prediction that was.
looking forward to E3 and them ending the conference with Shu coming on stage saying " It is time for the last.....GUARDIAN.
/DEAD
It's finally dead.

dat title change.
damn you y2kev
It wasnt for me but it was for most of GAF. Everyone and their mother were expecting TLG at this event. I hope that Shu confirms its dead 100% next E3 to kill any "fan following".
It's dead, I don't have any more hopes
If its not by TGS next year, ill have to call it.
FOR NOW
BELIEVE, NeoGAF.
Also, we need to prep that this is still coming out on PS3 specifically. Don't let your emotions get Squeenixed.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but...
that ship set sail a long time ago.
What will happen first? The Last Guardian releases or Ridley as a playable character in Smash?

Secret insider is telling us that the game is still happening!if the game was not even talked about on the 20th anniversary of playstation i think is time to pack up and leave, game is notcoming, like..never
One of the reasons I bought a PS3 was for this game. Fuck, that was a long time ago.
Japan and its slow turn out ruined everything! T^TThis and Final Fantasy XIII: Versus![]()
This and Final Fantasy XIII: Versus![]()
And here's a new thread about it to give this post further credence. The following information is from one of those Japanese game blogs.
A guy managed to take a look at a magazine called "Dengeki Playstation 20th Anniversary Edition" which isn't released yet. (its release date is Decemenber 11th)
And the guy said, in it featured a " 107 creator survey", which featured some comments from Mr. Ueda Fumito.

Fuck that! It's aliveeee!Again, please take this as a grain of salt.
of course it's still alive, shu has confirmed that multiple times over the past year
That doesn't mean anything. He replied to me in the same way, over a year ago.

Fumito Ueda (The Last Guardian dude~):
The Last Guardian has had lots of growing pains, but talks with SCE management have all been cleared and development is currently underway in a different environment (PS4 move most likely). I'm also working on other things.

man they keep talking about the "right time" to re-reveal the game and you would think that their 20th anniversary event would be the "right time."
I can't really guess at this anymore, I'll just hold my expectations until it finally happens.
You know what's the right time? Xbox sales in Japan beat the shit out of PS4
umm when would that ever happen??
